Hey all,
Been playing through Runelords using 2, Valeros & Sajan. I was just trying to find the best strategy as far as which locations to hit first. I always split the characters but I haven't found the best strategy yet. Is it better to hit locations with more monsters first, or hit the ones that are easier/harder to close? Or other logic? Just curious to see what the pros thought. This noob will appreciate any help. Thanks!!!

For me, in the typical scenario, I always pick a location to start at that I can close. If you defeat a henchman and can't close, you've either got to temp close, empty the location deck, or chase the villain. Empty the deck and chasing the villain aren't too horrible in a 2 character game. But still probably not optimal.
I personally might be tempted to have them at the same location for a bit, so that Sajan can get Valeros' help on combat checks. So, if there was a Strength closing check, or one that was defeating a henchman, I might start there with them teamed up.

So, with Sajan and Valeros, you might want to continue having them at the same location. True, Sajan doesn't really need help on his combat checks, but if he does, Valeros has it for him. You also only have 40 cards to get through in 30 turns, so you don't have to worry too much about splitting up.
With only 2 players, you're probably going to have some locations you can't close easily. I recommend leaving those until last in a 2 player game, because you can then chase the villain there.
Other than that, I usually pick locations I can close and locations where I can deal with the "At This Location" powers. We usually leave the Warrens for last, because if everything else is closed, the monsters can't end up other places.
