Medium and clarification on Archmage Arcana "though not for the purpose of fulfilling prerequisites"

Rules Questions

Hello. I have a question regarding the Medium class.

My question is: Do the spells provided by the Archmage Arcana class feature allow the crafting of arcane wiz/sorc scrolls? (assuming Scribe Scroll is taken as a feat)

For the archmage spirit, for Archmage Arcana, the ability reads:
"When you cast these spells, they count as arcane (though not for the purpose of fulfilling prerequisites), and thus you must provide verbal and somatic components instead of thought and emotion components."

The line that is a bit unclear to me is "though not for the purpose of fulfilling prerequisites". I presume it means that it cannot be used to meet PrC or feat prerequisites, but was wondering if it also extended to item crafting and the fulfillment of spell-completion item spell prerequisites.

I think the "though not for the purpose of fulfilling prerequisites" is so people don't use the spirit the medium is channeling as a way to enter into a prestige class.

"Scribing scrolls while channeling a non-Champion" has long been a thing the medium did in my experience.

There are several feats and/or prestige classes that require you to have a certain arcane caster level or to be able to cast arcane spells of a certain level. A Medium does not qualify for any of these things.

The Hierophant legend imposes similar restrictions in regard to divine spellcasting.

If a feat or prestige class requires spellcasting ability but does not specify arcane or divine, you potentially could qualify for it.

Yeah, the spell can qualify, you just don't qualify of having arcane spellcasting. Like, you can't use arcane strike feat or use it to qualify for prestige classes that need arcane casting.
