In case anyone missed the first Kickstarter for this excellent minis game.
Adam Poots is back on Kickstarter with Kingdom Death: Monster version 1.5.
It's already raised more than the first Kickstarter.

I know. I'm really excited for this. I managed to use my original Black Friday Survivor Deluxe Round 2 package to convince a friend to back this one.
I'm hoping the Gambler tee-shirt can be made into an add-on for those of us with a lot of the content already.
Sleep will help some, but this Kickstarter will still be a wild ride. [=
I don't own a lot of the pinups in the series... But I've been looking forward to seeing what the Male Pinup line would resemble since Adam mentioned them eons ago.
The sculpt is as cool as the Female Pinups.
And a hard cover rule book.
I've been wanting the book to be more durable.
And the Dragon King Expansion is reprinted at $75 dollars. Female Dung Beetle Dancer Pinup makes its way into existence.

For me, I'm in the same boat as Rysky, it's enjoyable game. Brutal at times, but enjoyable.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with how much fun the game actually ended up being.

It's one of the highest rated thematic games on Board Game Geek, if that helps settle anything for you. It has 9.1 average player rating, which is astonishingly high; only the relatively small player base holds it back from higher ratings.
I love playing it, co-op and even solo. The creatures you fight draw their tactics turn by turn from a semi-random deck of cards unique to each creature: the AI deck. It's a great mechanism, innovative and well-executed.
The quality of the game components is as high as you're ever likely to see; a lot of creativity, hard work and talent are behind it.

The first part of the update made me worry a bit, I hope the KD staff aren't getting harassed -_-
on to the slightly good stuff, the Murderer narrative amuses me, since that was the first event we unlocked in our game. The Survivor that bit it was the one that killed the Lion and had gotten a stat boost too...

Also, thinking next up is the Lion Knight Court...
.. and it was the Court.. with an upgrade. Sweet.
A final form for the Satan twins is interesting. What monstrosity could it take... I may have to pick up the hard plastic versions...
