If a tier 5 table opens up then there will be a level 1 spot open; I signed myself up for a level 1 table just in case, but I prefer the higher tier.

I cant be sure, but I think someone has modified the order of the waiting list for GMs. I could be wronf, but I could have sworn I was 4th or 5th in line.

My table's party is short a strong healer (though that's just an observation of mine, nobody's complained about the fact yet) - one of my players-in-waiting suggested that we might want to trade a player with another 8-9 table if it could get us one.
Well our table is CORE but you could PM GM Evil and see if anyone wants to move over. Though his table only has one dedicated healer.
Don't worry about it too much. I'm sure they'll manage in any case.
I saw an opening at a Tier 1-2 table (GM Kuey) so I switched from the Tier 3-4 table (GM Luke Parry) to it, if that is okay.

Jonais, have you discovered the Flaxseed Lodge yet? Most new PFS games get announced there, so it can be a really great place to find a campaign for your brand new character.
A lot of people post in Flaxseed gameplay to get it into their list of campaigns, and then watch for announcements of new games in Recruitment and Gameplay. Some of these games are filled first-come, first serve. Others are filled by a lottery. Still others will run a recruitment in the recruitment forums.
I hope that you make it into Blood Under Absalom, but if not... there will be a ton other games. I promise!

Is that for the core table? I've got a level 2 non-core that is looking for a table. I was too late getting signed up so I missed all of the slots.
Kick off is 'tomorrow' so I expect that players have checked in within 24 hours of the start time - after that they fall into my 'no show' pile and feel free to replace them.
I've got a level two paladin on the waitlist that I would love to play this with. If anyone needs a replacement that is.

just stumbled across this. Looks very interesting. I admit though I haven't played pbf on the paizo forums only on rpggeek. Not sure how things will differ. I'm also not as familiar with these forums in general. Is there any room left even. I suppose that should have been my first question.
But also curious if there is any special rules? Is it a scenario for credit? What else would I need to know?
I'm curious about something though I'm not sure if the answer is a spoiler or not. Presumably the best individual or team will win. But with multiple PCs entering the same contest wouldn't that mean we would have to face each other at some point? Even if the odds are in our favor it will reach a point where the top 50 or so will all be Pathfinders.
