While this is a bit of a necro. I think it's still relevant...

Familiars could easily be considered an extension of the caster. How else could they deliver spells for their master and have spells cast on them with a target of Personal?

That being said, they are also their own individual creature and are capable of acting independently of their master, or at their master's direction.

So while the master is *in possession* of their familiar (ie on them and not acting independently of their master) they should be allowed to travel with them through a dimensional slide. While the familiar is on it's own and acting independently, the familiar should not travel through the rift with their master, even if they are sharing the same space.

For game rules terms you could look at it like this: If the familiar is sharing a space at the beginning of the master's initiative and took no actions except movement (not move equivalent actions) on the previous turn then it may travel through a dimensional slide with the master, otherwise it can be considered to have been acting independent of the master and unable to accompany them.

Cool, I thought about doing it that way, but seemed like it could get confusing to track and wanted to make sure I conformed to what was fairly standard. Thanks for the info!

So you end up with multiple lines on the ITS for the same item?

The Exchange

So how do you notate on your ITS when you upgrade an item? There's a spot for the item name, the price, what chronicle you purchase, sold and used it on, but when you upgrade that +1 item to a +2 the gold price changes, and you now have (at least) two chronicle sheets that contain part of the purchase...

The Exchange

The installation price doesn't make sense to me. If you're buying the veemod separately then you're just buying the veemod.

Where do you end up paying the double price?
Who gets the mark-up?
Are there two types of veemods for each color? goggles and eyes?

Unless there are actually two different types of veemods, which opens up a whole new can of worms, I think it's suggesting the installation cost is double, not the market cost of the actual item. Installation cost is typically 10% of the market price for the item, so installing a veemod in cybernetic eyes would be 10% of the eyes cost + 20% of the veemod cost. Thoughts? Am I missing something?

I figured out how to sign up for events, but still not sure about how the actual gameplay and chronicle sheets work :)

Hi,

I just came across this and I tried to go to the worhorn site to register, but it's just blank with no scenarios listed. I did find the list of available scenarios on tpkon.com but again the links all go to a blank worhorn event. Am I missing something or are they just not up yet?

Also, I'm new to online pfs games (played table top for years and organized play since living city) so if anyone could point me to a faq or give me a brief summary of how it works I'll be good to go.

Thanks!

The Exchange

So how does this work exactly? I'm very interested in starting a new character that I created and looking for games to play. I came across this game in my search for PFS games. I'll have to put myself on the wait list as it will be a first level character, but even if I'm not able to join this event I'm interested in learning how it works so that I can join a future event.

Thanks in advance!

True, Stone armor is an option. The downside to it is the weight... You need a 16+ STR even for a small character to wear it without taking penalties for weight encumbrance.

The Exchange

So I'm currently working on a druid build and I'm looking to the future for armor. I've gone through the list of special materials and found the following...

These special materials can replace existing materials in armor we can already wear:
Angelskin
Darkleaf Cloth
Eel Hide
Greenwood

These special materials can replace metal and thus allow access to higher AC armor:
Bulette Armor
Dragonhide

Besides special materials does anyone know of any other armors that are non metal that could be worn by a druid?

I recently started playing Pathfinder Society and have started trying to figure out different characters that I might want to play. In order to do this I have to make sure the books and feats I want to take are legal, which means I need to go to the Additional Resources page. The only problem is that once I get there and find out that it is indeed legal, you don't make it easy for me to buy the resource!

Making the book titles clickable links to the product page for that book would make buying it easier and would likely promote more sales because it is that much easier to give you their money!
