We've got a lot of subscriptions to ship out, enough that we are not able to get them all out in one day. We're doing our best to get them all shipped out as soon as possible (even sent Cosmo down to the warehouse to help pack envelopes!)
Thank you for your patience!~Sara Marie
Well if your going to have a problem, I guess that's the one to have.
Thanks for the update.

You guys really do a great job and all, but it's kind of frustrating to see my friends consistently get their PDFs and shipments a full week before I do. :-(
I suppose you ship alphabetically, which makes perfect sense but I'm damn tired of being punished for having a last name that starts with 'W'.
(That last bit isn't directed at Paizo at all, just a venting of general issues I've had to deal with my whole life.:-P)
Edit:
Aaand, I did get my PDFs this morning. Hope you guys did as well.

Since they do the bigger groups of shipping first (the APonly and superscribers are prolly the biggest group followed by companion without AP and modules... then superscriber and cards (I think the foes deck was with this month right?) and the 'subscriber with added items no one else has added'(me)
so you getting your gives me hope that mine are on the way

My last name starts with a "B" and I haven't gotten anything yet, so I don't think it's done alphabetically.
Of course I did take advantage of the Blackmoor sale, and that might have had something to do with it.

So the fact that I'm a little Paizo whore and subscribe to nearly every line they have means I get my stuff later?
That seems... off.
*sigh* Whatever. It is what it is. Going back to my PDF goodness now.

No, not alphabetical. Now that Cpt_kirstov mentioned it, I recall that being the way they do it. I had just forgotten. Which of course renders my little whiny rant upthread meaningless and embarrassing. :-/

no, the fact that you haven't convinced everyone that is a superscriber (or at least the majority thereof) to subscribe to the gamemastery cards as well means you get your stuff later.

I appreciate all that you guys do. It's terrific. So much so, that I lump all my orders together for a single shipment a month (which is probably one of the reasons I'm still waiting on it).
But, do you think it could be set up that the PDFs release when the book is released instead of when it's shipped to me? The week or so wait between knowing the AP is out and getting the PDF is making me something something.

Here is an idea what if when you sent out the e-mail saying that your subscription is going to ship put in a link that allows you to go authorize the charge (basically an agreement that this one is going to ship, ad you can no longer cancel the order). Then everyone who is going to have access to the PDF's will when the shipments start shipping. Not sure how viable it is with your current web code, but a thought.

I'm willing to believe there's a good efficiency-based reason for doing this, but I'd love to know what it is. At first blush it seems counterintuitive to provide slower service to the individuals spending the most subscription dollars.
FWIW, I'm not generally concerned about -- or even aware of, most months -- what week my subscription shipments are supposed to arrive, so the only problem I've ever had was when one AP (20? 21?) failed to show at all. And I didn't notice it until the second one after that had shipped. Paizo Customer Service being who they are, I had a replacement issue to me as soon as I realized there was a problem.

I was just thinking the exact same thing.
Looking at the comments for the Adventurer's Armory, there are people who got their PDFs as early as Friday 4/16 ... yet here I wait still.
It would be so very very nice if the PDFs for "pending" orders were available rather than being in limbo.
It is a beautiful irony that the more you spend, the worse the service is :)

Well, they can't give you the PDF before you've been charged and they can't really charge without shipping. That would add a whole new layer of complications and responsibilities they probably don't want.
They just need a bigger shipping staff. :-P

For what it's worth, it's usually the added items that slow mine down, not the superscriber status. Last month I got mine just over a week after the initial batch went out (with an add-on). This month I was right at the front (without). Of course, it's our own fault for asking for that option, getting it (thanks Gary, Ross!), and then using it ;)
I also have a sneaking suspicion they might swap things around, month to month, to rotate who goes first. But they have got to put the easy large batches up front, to serve the most people the earliest.
