Min-maxing Channel build thoughts

Advice

Sovereign Court

Hi there, a few days ago i came to you wondering why people chooses life oracles and you gave me a ton of good reasons. I have been thinking on that and this time i have a intresting build for them.
(I apologise if i make some grammar mistakes, english is not my first lenguage)

Str 10
Dex 12
Con 14
Int 10
Wis 10
Cha 19 (Bonus here)

Half Elf
Deity: Pharasma (she have the death and some kind of hate portfolio against undead so i think she cualifies for the two channel feats we see below)

Traits:
Reactionary
Indomitable fait/ Exalted of the Society

Favored class bonnus:
Add +⅙ to the oracle’s level for the purpose of determining the effects of one revelation.

Mistery: Life
Archetype: Dual Cursed
VMC: Cavallier (order of the stars)

Curses:
-Blackened to add some blasting stuff or Mercifull (golden if 3pp is allowed)
-haunted

Lvl 1:
Feat: Fey founded
Revelations: Missfortune

Lvl 3:
Revelation: Channel positive energy (Here we can start taking the +1/6 to one revelation)
Gain Challange from VMC

Lvl 4: +1 Cha.

Lvl 5:
Feat: Quick channel or selective channel
Revelation: Fortune
Paragon surge feat choice (most of the time): Fateful Channel (When you channel positive energy to heal living creatures, you grant each creature you heal the ability to roll twice and take the better result on a single attack roll, skill check, or saving throw of their choice within a number of rounds equal to your Cha bonus (minimum 1). Multiple uses of this ability do not stack, but they do reset the effect's duration. A creature can only benefit from one instance of this channel effect at a time. This with fortune and missfortune brings a ton of re-rolls to the table)

Lvl 6:

Lvl 7:
Gain calling (Second level order ability from Cavalier variant multiclassing)
Add cha to checks, every time you must roll some ability check you may pray a little and add his charisma (4 times per day)
Add half your cavalier levels possess for the purposes of determining the effects of channel energy or lay on hands (+3 levels)
Your effective cleric level is 10 so you channel 5d6 dice.

Lvl 8:
Bonnus to cha again, oracles love cha.
Now you have an effective level of 13 (+6/6 favored class bonnus), so you now heal 6d6 and can take channel hate with paragon surge (As a standard action, expend one channel energy to grant one creature within 30-ft. with vengeful outrage.
If you expend an extra use of channel energy the target does not gain a second saving throw against this effect if you designate the target's friend or loved one as its hated enemy.)

We can channnel as move action with quick and give them the fatefull buff, and then make a standard action channel to channel hate (your barbarian/fighter will love it or you can cast on some enemy to fight another one)

Lvl 9:
By now we have no problems building a Phylactery of Positive Channeling, what give us +2d6

New feat: take some channel feat you use a lot with paragon surge or whatever you wish.
Channel 7d6+2d6= 9d6, enough for the second benefit of channel hate (Upon obtaining channel energy 9d6, you can affect a number of creatures within 30 feet equal to your Charisma bonus (minimum 2 creatures) with this feat instead. If you expend an extra use of channel energy when using this feat, the target does not gain a second saving throw against this effect if you designate the target's friend or loved one as its hated enemy.)
You have a super high charisma, and we likely have one or two items to boost the stat so we can target 6 or 7 people withot much effort, buff your big stupid fighter and your cohort, animal compagnions and other minions and make your enemies fight each other.

Lvl 10: Now you have an effective level of 16, and with the hylactery of Positive Channeling we heal a total of 10d6, te same as a lvl 20 cleric.
From now we can foccus on making our dcs higher, focus on a second thing, improve our divine casting or whatever we wish.

Im not shure if taking dual cursed is a good idea since it slows the channel positive energy gain, and waste a feat at lvl 1 for extra is not a good option since we dont have many of them thanks to VCM. Another archetype to consider is ancient lorekeeper, a strong archetype if we wait till high levels.
If you mannage to get a a Phylactery of Positive Channeling earlier you can take the feats earlier too thanks to paragon surge extra feat.

Well, Channel Hate and Fateful channel are deity-specific feats. You can only use Fateful Channel if you worship Pharasma. You can only use Channel Hate if you worship Gyronna.
Besides, spending a standard action and a 3rd level spell slot to then be required to spend another standard action before you get any benefit seems only okay.

It may be a GM by GM case, but I don't think a phylactery of positive channeling would let you qualify for a feat earlier. Again, I could definitely be wrong about that.

I don't much like the choice of fey foundling for this build. Since it doesn't look like you're taking the life link revelation, you shouldn't be taking too much damage. Being that your str is 10, I imagine you intend to stay away of combat, so you shouldn't need the extra self-healing.
Instead, you could take channel at first level and selective channel, then misfortune at 3rd. From personal experience: it is painful trying to channel positive energy without selective channel. It makes fights take longer than they should.

Last, don't forget that the phylactery of positive channel occupies the same slot as the +charisma headband.

Overall, though, I think channeling builds are fun. I'm not 100% sold on the viability of VMC cavalier v.s. half your feats, but your numbers will certainly be impressive!

Well, life link or shield other are allways a possibility and agree fey founded may not be the best feat but missfortune is a must at lvl 1 for the dual cursed, it says "At 1st level, as an immediate action... blabla) as i understand i must take it at first level, no choice. With that in mind maybe lorekeeper archetype could be better.
Spirit guide may be worth too.
The 3rd level spell gives the advantage of not wasting any spell slot and no double save for the enemy but at level 9 with the chance of using it on a lot of people starts to truly shine.

It does qualify you for the boost, just like belt of stat counts for requirements.

I recommend looking over this thread and the thread I linked to within it for advice on channel focused characters.

Bad thing Whimsy got reworked, your build was amazing. I read in the first post that vmc isnt PFS legal, too bad for me.

Looking through the forums, I don't get a perfectly clear answer.
Stat boosting items are specifically called out for in the rules as actually boosting the affected attribute after 24 hours.

This item doesn't have similar verbiage.
The nay-sayers claim that the item doesn't increase the channeling directly; that it only adds an additional 2d6 healing or damage.
I'm inclined to believe this is correct, because if a character has variant channeling, where they only heal as much, this item still adds 2d6 to the lowered healing value.

Those who think it does help meet feat prereqs say that the item DOES add to the effective ability of the character to channel, and that people who think otherwise are being needlessly pedantic.

Long story short, your results may vary; ask your GM.

@Targutai Minyatur-Dual Cursed states that you MAY select Fortune or Misfortune in place of a mystery revelation. It doesn't say that you MUST or that they replace the revelation gained at first level.
Misfortune is a strangely worded ability, but you are not required to take it at first level.

Equipment-wise, a Phylactery of Positive Channeling is a must.

I'd also consider looking at the Soul Warden prestige class for a very interesting variation you could take your channeling.

Exalted of Sarenrae is also pretty intriguing.

you can't channel to harm creatures with the life Oracle.

The only way for that to work is if the DM lets you. Bones does the same thing, you can't harm or heal, only command undead.

Just wanted to throw that in there, unless it was changed...
