Hulu Doesn't Appear to Carry Current Episodes of My Favorite Shows

Television

Well, crap. I dropped cable because I could no longer afford it and planned to watch my favorite shows on Hulu, but it turns out Agents of SHIELD, Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl don't appear to be carried on Hulu. While looking over the shows offered, they only had 1 season and 5 episodes listed for each of them. Guess I'm gonna miss my shows this year.

I don't know about Agents of Shield, but the CW shows are viewable on their website (cwtv.com) starting 24 hours after they air for at least a few weeks (if you're in the US, at least).

Also, depending on where you live, you might well be able to get your local CW and ABC affiliates over the air for free with a digital antenna from your local big box store.

Hulu tends to put episodes up the day after they air, but those episodes generally expire after a few weeks. Although apparently the CW deal with Netflix for the upcoming season has lead them to drop Hulu. As far as I know, AoS will still be on Hulu, once it's new season begins. (Hulu and CBS haven't ever had that good a relationship...so Supergirl's first season was never on it.)

That's a relief. Thanks!

That's gonna suck for this cord-cutter. It means I'll have to wait until the season is over to begin watching (I do have Netflix, but they don't do weekly updates like Hulu - unless the CW deal includes that).

Also, Hulu recently announced they're ending their free service, and will only have a paid option. Don't recall what date that starts though. However, the free version of what they have is being licensed by Yahoo, so whatever you used to be able to watch free on Hulu should show up on Yahoo instead (doesn't make sense to me...but that fits with everything else Yahoo has done in the past 5-10 years).
