I think having a campaign setting book dedicated to some of the more well-known, or infamous, prisons of Golarion would be a nice addition to the campaign setting line. There are snips of them here and there and I believe one or two in the Dungeons of Golarion book but a compilation, or perhaps a few, could be nice to see.
Is there a possibility that we may see something like this down the road?

Citadel Gheradesca, headquarters of the Hellknight Order of the Chain (in Corentyn). Allegedly the most secure prison in Avistan, and they will hold any prisoner as long as he or she (or it) has been legally sentenced by a government. If you ask me, no prisons of golarion book would be complete without this one!
Swift prison in Cassomir deserves a mention in the front inside cover at best, but still a cool alternate concept for a Golarion prison.
The one on a ship just off Absalom's harbour always sounded cool to me too, guarded by Gillmen IIRC.

I think fleshing these gems of Golarion out can really help bring life to certain regions as well as help GMs with some adventures hooks. I really like these mentions listed above.
If they were to produce such a product, would it help any of you out in your games? Just trying to gather some input and opinions.

I just got running The Devil We Know PFS series and Swift Prison features prominently, as well as some great detail on the city of Cassomir. It's a really neat prison the way it works. It certainly doesn't need a big write up, especially since most of the info you need is right in the PFS scenarios, but it absolutely deserves mention.

In the Guide to Darkmoon Vale it alludes to a prison built under the Diamond Regiment's headquarters. The Dungeons of Adamas are natural caverns extending below the cliff against which the Gleaming Tower of Adamas is built and the guide suggests that only part of it is a prison with still more underground area being inhabited by dangerous underground creatures.

In Dungeon Magazine #146 there was an adventure by Tim and Eileen Connors called Escape from Meenlock Prison. It was frickin awesome! Creepy, dangerous and low level. My favorite part of the adventure was what the creatures whisper into your brain as you go through it: "What you are, we once were; what we are you will be!"
Oh man, now I gotta plunder the collection and see if I can work that one into the homebrew campaign...
