Attention Pathfinder GMs:

Each year, on the day before Gen Con begins, the Indianapolis Lodge offers FREE PFS gaming. This year, on Wednesday, August 3rd, we are back at Scotty's Brewhouse in downtown Indianapolis, just a few blocks walk from the Convention Center.

I am looking for GMs! I have some GM slots filled already, but need more! We have two slots for PFS this year:

8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Anyone interested in GMing should drop me an email at webbrichd@gmail.com. Let me know what slots you want to run, and which scenarios. I've filled out the schedule with current season scenarios. However, if something is empty, then I will switch it out with a scenario of your choice. Try to pick scenarios that can fit in the time frame, and perhaps finish a few minutes early. It's a very tight schedule that doesn't allow for adjustments. So, if you're interested, drop me a note ASAP.

If you want to see what is currently scheduled, and to register, visit the Warhorn for this event HERE!. If you were at this event last year and were registered on the Warhorn, you should still be registered.

I provide chronicle and reporting sheets and since this is an official game day, it counts for support for GM boons and prizes!

All players and GMs are required to buy food and drink (food service starts at 9 a.m.).

What sort of tables are left?

How big?

I've played at Scotty's before, but I'm not sure the final map of the Consortium Compact would work on the tables?

Check the Warhorn for what's left. 4 player tables are booths for 4 players, with a GM sitting at the end. 6 player tables will hold 6 players comfortably, generally. That map isn't that big, and should fit on most, if not tall, tables just fine.

I would love it if another GM stepped up to run 7-24: Dead Man's Debt. I signed in on the same day and came in 8th....

Food and Drink is on me!

I've loved the idea of Scotty's Con since I found out about it years ago, but this is why I don't sign up again. Understandably the requirement is to buy food while playing, but this make space a very high premium.

I can't even get a normal map unfolded on these tables, and the players had their items on their lap and as a GM all but the still fully folded map was on a chair while I stood.

Love the atmosphere and the fun that this was, and I know space is at a premium, it's a little bit too tight to be comfortable. I would absolutely love to come back, if we can get a bit more space.

Even if we had another GM, there isn't, as of yet, another table to hold the game.

Thank you Joe; if this happens (hopefully), my offer still stands.

Last year I ran some of my encounters by just putting the printed page from the scenario out on the table. I was glad the actual combats took place in small rooms. It does take some creativity on the GM's part to adapt to the limited space.

As Mark mentioned, there is no way to make another table.

Right now I've filled the last GM spots for the number of tables provided to us.

I certainly do not want to steer anyone away from Scotty's as it is an excellent atmosphere with tasty food and beverages (I'll be there Wednesday morning myself), but there are other places you can go to get a pre-con game in. The convention center often has some tables set up in the outer hallway that are unused until Thursday. Also, the attached hotels have casual seating areas in their lobbies and in the 2nd floor balcony areas where a group could easily set up and play. If you can handle the noise, there is also the food court at the mall. The dinning area is huge and it would be a simple thing to set up a game in there.
