Can you take other classes' favored class options if you have an effective level in that class and the prerequisite ability? Half-elf ninja with Erdrich Heritage has an effective sorcerer level but only when it comes to the power he gets from EH. That specific ability can be modified by the sorcerer favored class bonus (+1 use per day/level).

You have one (sometimes two) favoured class(es).

When gaining a level, if you take a level in your favoured class you may choose a favoured class bonus (+1 HP, +1 Skill Rank, or a racial faviured class bonus option). Having an "effective level" is not the same as gaining a level in the class.
