Sorry if this has been answered already, but I could not find a clarification on this board or on the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide product page.
Page 21 says, "Before playing each adventure, you must decide if you will opt for slow advancement."
Pages 36-37 say, "Note the advancement track selected by each player(F). Ensure this selection matches the player’s existing track if he is between levels. If his Starting XP (G) is a multiple of three and the selected track differs from the one on his previous Chronicle sheets, confirm that he wants to change his advancement track."
Which is correct? Can you select slow or normal track before the adventure? Or can you only change your advancement track when you level up?

Pages 36-37 are probably an accidental holdover from the previous iteration of the Guide, where you could only switch between levels. Page 21 has the correct language.

You should flag this for the Campaign Coordinator, so they can make a note to clean it up in the next version this summer.

"Looks like there is some yellow laundry on the field."

..is that supposed to mean something?

I believe he is referring to American football, saying there is a penalty (known as a flag on the play). The flag is essentially a yellow cloth, thus laundry.

"The assistant referee has a flag raise. Looks like Messe was offside."

Better? :)

I will make sure the guide clarification team is aware of this, if Andrew doesn't find it beforehand.

I agree the Guide definitely needs to clarify Gary's sports references, not all of us get them... ;)

Messi is never offside. But apparently, he's always offshore.
