Sneak Attack-
The rogue's attack deals extra damage anytime her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the rogue flanks her target. This extra damage is 1d6 at 1st level, and increases by 1d6 every 2 rogue levels thereafter. Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30 feet. This additional damage is precision damage and is not multiplied on a critical hit
Flanking-
When making a melee attack, you get a +2 flanking bonus if your opponent is threatened by another enemy character or creature on its opposite border or opposite corner.
When in doubt about whether two characters flank an opponent in the middle, trace an imaginary line between the two attackers' centers. If the line passes through opposite borders of the opponent's space (including corners of those borders), then the opponent is flanking.
Now My Question If I meet the requirements set forth in paragraph 2 will i do sneak attack damage when throwing a dagger from 15 feet away from the target? I don't care about the +2 to hit just whether i deal sneak attack damage or only Melee attacks can flank.

I need the clarification for a society character. I wanted to play a ranged dagger type rogue but it seems it wouldn't be viable until late game.
Ranged sneak attack is difficult to achieve. You are largely relying either on stealth, which is hard to do and normally breaks after your first attack, or invisibility which also breaks after the first attack.
The 30' range limitation is also often an annoyance.

Where do I post questions about rules as it pertains to society gaming since they are sometimes different than pathfinder as a whole. Ex. No home brew rules no 3rd party publications strict buying of magics ect
If the question is about character options, this is best done in the Rules Questions forum, with the in-thread clarification that you are working on a Pathfinder Society character.
Questions about the function of Pathfinder Society (Chronicle sheets, source legality, etc.) are best asked here in PFS General Discussion.

This isn't really very viable until level 10 when vanishing trick gets upgraded to improved invisibility. You cannot buy potions of improved invisibility and scrolls will take a DC25 UMD to activate blindly (slightly better than the DC27 to hit the caster level). However, it will only last for 7 rounds so you are probably having to use it in combat. They are also 700gp each.

Swift action pop invis, shoot, will get you one sneak attack per round.
High strength and dex will give you okay bow damage when you can't sneak attack. Even on a 3/4 bab class archery is still pretty good.
Handing the wizard or high cha. healer a wand of vanish can sometimes get you an extra sneak in if they have nothing to do with their action.

If you can get an improved familiar somehow with a wand of vanish that might help you.
The carnivalist allows you to have a familiar instead of trap sense, and counterfeit mage allows you to use wands in place of trapfinding. I'm not sure if either archtype works with an unchained rogue though.

It should. Unchained was made to work with the archtypes and danger sense calls out that it can be replaced like trap sense'

Recent clarification: You cannot use "flanking" on a ranged attack to get sneak attack.
No, but you can still get sneak attack with a ranged weapon as long as the target is either flat-footed, or denied their Dex to AC.

Of course. But since the title of the thread is "Ranged sneak attack and flanking," I wanted to make sure the OP was aware of the recent clarification.
