On a lighter note, my passing through Times Square earlier this week may have included one of the gayest moments in my life.
I was trying to pass through and one of the painted ladies almost plowed into me headed the other way, and I got really annoyed.
A topless woman... was blocking my path... and I was annoyed by that...

Yah, doc's been fussing at me too. Time to actually get serious about my diet and exercise if I plan to live long enough to get revenge. (IE= Be a burden to my children!) ;P

Fantastic day yesterday, I was officially diagnosed with both obstructive sleep apnoea and hypertension … this on top of my existing heart issues. It’s kind of annoying when you lead a healthy life style and still end up with these sort of things.
I've had both of those for a while now. I use CPAP (just going to get my second machine next week) and it's been a godsend. Once you can breathe/sleep, your BP might come down naturally.
Good luck with the treatment.
I've used a CPAP for years. And it's helped me sleep so much better than before. I can't even take a nap without it.

Picked up an extra shift, although it is my day off. Still, 8 hours of OT can't be sneered at.

I'm actually pretty fortunate (if I look on the bright side) that my sleep apnoea is in the least serious category. At this point the doc is not recommending a CPAP, the suggestion is for some aids to help me sleep on my side rather than my back (based on the recent sleep study I did apparently I'm only snoring / stopping breathing when I'm on my back) - so I'm looking into that. There's a store right near my office that sells all sorts of sleeping aids, I checked it out today but am going to do a bit more research before I make any purchases.
