That aside, the player(s) in question all have experience playing over multiple sessions, but have pretty much no experience actually building characters. Familiarity with playing a character is not a problem, but familiarity with building them is.

1 currently. There are also 2 others who aren't very involved in their character building: they say their concept and whoever is GMing constructs it for them. Not that they're uninvolved in playing the character, but they just don't have time/system mastery to build the characters.
