I would like to find two new players willing to join this game
Palace of the Vampire Queen, the 5e version
New characters must be dwarves, and will be built using the guidelines established in this thread
Original Character Creation guidelines
Recently, the party lost the rogue, and over the past few months also lost the last dwarven character in the group.
Right now, a halfling (Bard), a human (Sorcerer), and a half-orc (Fighter), along with a dwarven NPC (Cleric) have left the Palace of the Vampire Queen and returned to the Black Village (an abandoned dwarven settlement) where they are taking refuge in Loamstone Hollow, a Kobold Hovel, to resupply and plan their next excursion into the mountain to search for and rescue the daughter of the King, who went missing just a week or so ago.
The setting for this adventure is the Island Kingdom of Baylor, which is part of the same campaign world that I am using for the Games
The Beginning of All Things
and
Castle Caldwell and Beyond
New characters will be met at the Kobold Hovel, and will be looking to join any expedition to the Palace of the Vampire Queen (thus quickly join the current group of heroes).
This game is being played using a highly modified (house rules) version of the 5e D&D rules, and includes elements of world building open to all players.
Thank you

Glorim 'Specter' Vongar |

Yeah that 6 certainly stung. Fortunately, my idea worked out pretty damn well and allowed me to mitigate it nicely. So, allow me to present Glorim 'Specter' Vongar. An Albino Dwarven Rouge, using his guile and charm to get what he wants rather than resorting to raw strength or divine intervention. Though the occasional forged set of papers and proper disguise don't hurt either.
Forgot to roll gold: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 4) = 14

that's a great start, Yolollama! I hope you don't mind I sent you a private message about where to go from here, if you decide for sure this is what you want to get involved in.
By they way - this is not a fast paced game, posting is on the slow side, with my posts coming in about one every other or every third day, sometimes every day, when I get excited. But it is a fun game and has three really great players already.

AYE! I'll dot thee interest to take ei ov'r thee Priest (Cleric) or 'is job!
I currently don't have any of the books and I want to try out the game system before investing in any especially since Hasbro WotC is not offering PDFs ... sigh.

Here is my character alias and I am still working him. It's late and I need to go to bed;
1. Where can I find more Divine Domains? I was thinking of Protection or should I take the Life Divine Domain listed even though the current list of Dwarven Deities do not have that in their portfolio?

Yes, you get the gold I mention in the character creation guidelines, plus any standard equipment that is included with your class and background.
Also, so that you can catch up quickly with the rest of the group, please roll 2d6 and multiply the results x10 to establish your starting experience points.

If not too late, I'd like to throw in an application. If accepted, I'll create a profile for him right away:

Grinley, NG Male Hill Dwarf Druid, Outlander
Grinley is an odd character to say the least. Perhaps he took too many beatings as a child -- being small even for dwarf standards he was frequently picked on by other dwarves. Because of this, he spent a lot of time outside of the town he grew up in, and found an appreciation for nature. Grinley seemed to have a natural connection to the land, which grew stronger when he was underground -- and at times he believes he can hear the earth talking to him. Sometimes its indistinguishable whispers, other times is whispered phrases or warnings.
Grinley has spent most of his adult life as a guide for subterranean caves and tunnel systems. Although he's very good at what he does, he doesn't get a lot of repeat business as many clients seem distraught when he starts talking to the ground.
Grinley has a great appreciation for animals and has a pet badger. He never has really had a good understand of his fellow dwarves, so he tends to be a little lest trusting of them.

I like this character, it is an interesting departure from the normal.
If Yolollama returns with a completed character that would make 4 I believe, and this would bring the party to seven, which is not unmanageable, but large. as long as everyone is okay with this party size I would accept all four dwarves into the game.

Grinley |

The small dwarf, stands somewhat vacant eyed as he considers the prospect of being teamed up with 6 strangers. While holding his pet badger in front of him, like a schoolgirl holding her cat, Grinley softly scratches Mr. Wiggle's head. He looks down at the badger, as if almost silently communicating with him. After a moment of reflection he nods approvingly.
Grinley looks up and speaks faintly, "I sssuppose that could work."
Clearly intimidated by the others, Grinley joins in. When anyone looks his way, he just smiles and sometimes adds a quick nervous giggle -- if it wasn't for the blank expression he normally wears on his face, this transformation would almost seem less creepy.

Alright, let me see if I can figure out what we have here
Player: Tyeal) - Character Glorim (dwarven Rogue)
Player: Anderlorn) - Character Brunar (dwarven Cleric)
Player: Kor - Orc Scrollkeeper - Character Grinley (dwarven Druid)
Sometime today (I hope) I'll post something to give each of you a reason for being in Loamstone Hollow (if you are sure you want to join the game that is).
I will wait on Yolollama until Sunday, and then hopefully Sunday I'll get a game post done that introduces you to the adventure
Brunar - have you had any ideas about a Life Domain Deity? If not I'll make a suggestion.

Sounds good. Also, I just wanted to confirm that I am very interested in joining -- please don't let my hesitant In-Character response reflect my feelings in the matter :)

Well, that's interesting because we already have this dwarven goddes in our campaign take a look at the campaign tab on the game under the spoiler to dwarven gods
Let me see if we can create a distinction between the two goddesses
One will be romantic love, healing, mercy, courtship and the moon
While the other will be physical beauty, lust, fertility, renewal, and the sun
And they will be sisters

Sounds good and call her Yerina Silver Hand?

Alright then, thanks for letting me know, and good luck!
hat means we have three dwarves that can join this party. I'll send a PM to each of you today. In the mean time, if you would not mind
Please visit the discussion thread of the game (linked in the first post) and introduce your character and yourself as a player.
I'll be making a game post that describes the three of you are all in the main hall of the Kobold Hollow, enjoying the hospitality of the Kobolds, and then the two groups can meet.
