Class select

Advice

can someone please link me to a list of all classes ? paizo owned and third party classes ive been trying to find a new exciting class but don't seem to find one that catches my eye closest one i found that was good is the kinetics
please help

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes

That has Paizo and 3rd party, PC, NPC and Prestige Classes. It DOES NOT include all archetypes however, you will need to go to each class page and scroll to see those. even then, as i understand it, there are still a few missing archetypes for each class.

If you give out some idea of what you enjoy or are looking to do with a character we could offer some suggestions too.

thank you torbyne and i feel like i would enjoy playing a close ranged combat character (dosn't matter if he uses magic or not) but i want him to be different from normal pathfinder classes i want it to stand out

what were you thinking of playing? Which class?

Keep in mind, a lot of DMs are very hesitant to allow 3rd party classes, so don't expect everyone to be on board with your choice if it is 3rd party.

As for "close ranged combat". Do you mean like a switch-hitter? Bow from ranged, greatsword in melee? Slayer and Rangers are very solid for that.

Or do you mean ranged weapons with a short range? Ninjas shuriken with flurry of stars and sneak attack are pretty powerful.

I am infatuated with Kineticists and unchained monks lately, both pull off "close range" though with very different feels. i dont see too many unchained monks around at all and kineticists are too new to have inundated any tables yet. The Unmonk can move across battlefields easily and unload huge numbers of attacks with decent accuracy. at higher levels they can start throwing down scorching rays and other spells to make up their ranged attacks, flurry of blows with monk thrown weapons or fly and keep punching things. Kineticists can bend things.

my gm said we could use third party classes and right now on the campaign im playing i am using a lvl 10 kinetics and to be honest they are quite fun to role play and are really useful when in combat

i mean like not tanks but something close combat like monk or fighter but i want it to stand out so its not to common in pathfinder but its there and he/she should be enjoyable to roleplay

Play a Path of War class.

Warlord is a good option, as is Stalker for more crit-fishing builds and teleporting around the battlefield. Warder is more defensive than offensively oriented, but a great class.

"Common" and "normal" are very relative terms in this RPG. In our level 13 campaign, even our party Fighter is far from typical.

List of non-Paizo base classes for Pathfinder. As of this writing, there are more than 350 base classes alone, not counting prestige classes and ACFs/archetypes.

Seconding this. If you got the option of 3rd party, then Path of War content is a no brainer. If you want something even newer, then the second book, Path of War: Expanded should have the playtest information around, which opens up several additional classes like the Harbinger for all your edgey grimdark needs.

Path of War: Expanded

Keep in mind Path of War classes will involve reading up and understanding how maneuvers work.
