We've got the final Supplemental release in layout now. It's actually bigger than all three individual class releases combined, so it may end up coming out in 2 parts. Once the supplemental release is completely rolled out, we'll be applying errata I've written up based on reviews, feedback, and updates in the later releases and then assembling everything for the final compilation.
Print release will most likely be a softcover format, not a hardcover like Ultimate Psionics.

Won't be the first softcover I bought from DSP, and it won't be the last.
Hardcover is just a really expensive format to produce books in. It can increase the cost of a book the size the final Akashic Mysteries will be (right around 165 pages) by almost 50%, which often serves to actually arbitrarily limit sales by putting the product out of many people's price range. Path of War, for example, is only $35 for a color print version, but a hardcover version would cost around $15-$20 more for the exact same content, and generally, that involves the publisher having to pay for and order a sufficient stock of those hardcovers up front. With the narrow margins on 3pp materials, that could mean that a dozen unsold hardcovers eats up profits that could have been spent on art or design in future works. There are some companies that offer Print On Demand options for these products, but those still typically entail monthly fees to maintain the service and other issues.
Hardcover runs are generally going to be associated with Kickstarted products like Ultimate Psionics, where the product is funded up front and we already have some set numbers for sales and demand that we can easily assess.
