Does the spell shadow projection qualify for the advanced magical trait Spell Like Ability, Greater?

I want a shadow race that is like a dhamphir such as blade. A woman whom was pregnant and near ready to deliver, is killed by a shadow's strength damage touch attack.

They are physically weak, but are adept in the shadows.

Spell-Like Ability, Greater (Variable, see Special) wrote:
Prerequisites: None; Benefit: Choose a 3rd-level or 4th-level spell that does not attack a creature or deal damage. Members of this race can use this spell as a spell-like ability once per day. The caster level of the spell is equal to the user's character level. Special: This trait costs as many RP as the level of the spell chosen. This trait can be taken up to three times. Each time you take an additional spell, adjust the RP cost of this trait appropriately.

Shadow Projection

Yeah, I don't see why not. It's a 4th level spell that doesn't attack a creature or deal damage.

That is my opinion, there is no direct damage done. It just enhances something that could be used for damage. Enlarge person could as well. I want as many arguments for it as possible.

Indirectly allowing you to do damage is fine. Buffs are fine. Was there somebody that actually said no to this? It doesn't seem debatable at all.

No, but I have a DM that will allow anything allowable by the rules. Just wanted to cover my basis before I bring my idea to him.
