Can I combine primalist and crossblooded rager archetypes (bloodrager class)?

Rules Questions

Hi,

is it possible to combine primalist and crossblooded rager archetypes?
(Both from bloodrager.)

Scarab Sages

No, they both alter your bloodline ability.

They do.

But for every bloodline power (4th level, 8th , 12th, 16th and 20th) you can choose either crossbloded rager or primalist alteration, but not both of them.

For me, it works similarly like with qinggong monk.

For you, it does.

But by the rules, no, it doesn't. We're giving you a by-the-rules answer; that's the entire point of this forum.

Proposing that Sorcerer archetypes can be treated similar to the Qinggong Monk archetype is a far-fetched claim.

Here's a relevant rules FAQ regarding Cross-Blooded Sorcerers and Wildblooded Sorcerers: here.

In essence, if it alters it, even if just for the selections of the subject matter, it's not feasible by the rules (though it's not unfair to houserule it to work).

If it's a home/non-PFS game and your GM is happy to run it that way it will make a fine house rule, but that's not the actual rule.

In a home game, I really don't see a problem with having both. Ask your DM, the altered abilities don't stack weird or anything so there's nothing broken about it. In PFS, the Primalist isn't allowed anyway, as far as I know.
