As the title states, is there any way to see how many times I have voted?
ooo, the timer is annoying after you've seen some items before.
Well, at certain points you get a title.
IIRC, Star Voter is 250 votes. They go on up to I believe 5,000 for marathon.
Best to spend the extra time double checking the items again, and then visiting the threads while you wait.

See as I keep seeing certain items pop up over and over to get voted on..Maybe I should just click Both Button every time..
I wonder are items that are bad are getting more votes simply because they are showing up more.

Actually, it's the opposite.
The algorithm they use for this tends to show more comparisons between items that get mixed reviews or negative. The mostly up-voted items appear more rarely as the voting goes on.
Thus the culls. Getting rid of the bottom voted items brings the higher ones back down overall. If you keep voting, things will begin to get better. Trust me, I know! :D

Oh, god, I've seen my item four times today.
Just out of curiosity, if/when you have voted enough to earn a title, does it appear on posts you made prior to that moment, or only one ones you make from then on?
It's retroactively applied.

The 2015 tag is for Season 8. Season 9 came early this year.
Not if they are going to be every 8 months instead of a year. This one will finish in 2015 still, so there may very well be times where two seasons appear in a year, as they have this year. This way, we can have Season 9, Season 10, etc. without worrying about exactly which year it falls in.
Oh ._.; So should it be 2016 then?

All hope for this year has now been lost. Think I should start planning for the next season now.
For some reason it's harder for me this year to vote often, but I have finally reached Star Voter.
Regarding the voting algorithm I wouldn't bet on any conclusion, especially based on a single person's voting experience. I have seen my item last season only two times, and both were long after I reached Dedicated, maybe I was Marathon already. My item didn't survive the cull afterwards.

Paizo never reveals the exact number of submissions.
The collected "items seen" list indicates 692 items. Obviously there could be a few that haven't been added to that list, plus however many are disqualified before voting begins (or very quickly afterward, before anyone adding to the list sees them).

I think it's more likely the contest moves to third quarter, instead of the first quarter of the year. With Con season being big release dates, the end of con season is probably more flexible than the time Paizo & other publishers are getting set up to go to the printers.
I can only see more than once a year if our hosts make money at it, which would require entry fees or commercial sponsorships. They and the judges spend their free time to run this for us. And it is a big time commitment. After their full time duties. They do it well, but they are essentially volunteers.
