Might as well throw in my two cents no matter how old this is.

The only real changes I would make is to remove the "NL burn damage can't be mitigated" crap a stated above and make the internal buffer be "Always full" or more accurately a 1, 2, or 3/day ability at the appropriate levels to reduce the burn from a single wild talents by 1 point, needing to constantly set up and replenish the reservoir is another massive kneecap to the class since you're not really gaining any additional burn mitigation because you're going to save at least as many point of burn as you store each day to refill the reservoir.


If I am running a game, I would have a few fixes for kineticist, and starting with a full buffer is one of them. It is not a huge deal and makes bookkeeping much easier for the DM and the player.

I am also considering letting them count as full BAB for kinetic blast and blast-related abilities (i.e. CMB checks from blast riders) and/or arranging for items that give them enhancement bonuses to their blast attacks.

Since to be honest.... non-lethal damage isn't actually that big of an issue in my experience GM'ing for kineticists and playing kineticists because of gathering energy meaning you rarely have to even take burn, and elemental overflow giving extra hit points. But burn screwing up other non-lethal damage mitigation is just annoying.
