Axebeak AC - Bite Attack Clarification

Rules Questions

My google-fu seems a tad weak on this one.

Anyway, the Axebeaks Bite attack is specifically called out as having "1d6 + 1-1/2 Str". I'm curious what this means as, having only a single Primary Natural Attack, the Axebeak would already gain 1-1/2 Str on it's attacks. I understand the two modifiers do not/can not stack but I am currious how this would work when one throws in the Multiattack ability AC's gain at level 9.

Thanks again.

It's just a reminder of how much damage the attack does, since animal companions strength is likely to increase they don't write it as a static number. It is inconsistently written compared to other animal companions, but I think it's because they're from different source books.

And specifically the animal companion's Multiattack doesn't affect it at all. He still gets strength-and-a-half on each swing he takes because he still only has one natural attack.
