2clerics1zombie. I mean, Turn vs. Command

Rules Questions

Out of curiosity, what would you say happens when one cleric tries to turn an undead that is currently being commanded by another cleric? And vice versa. Is that houserule territory, or is there a rule for it?

It seems to me that Command Undead is simply giving the zombie instructions on what to do which it will then attempt to accomplish.
Turn undead, on the other hand, simulates a fear condition on undead - this would override any existing commands for its duration.

Also, you'll need to create a video in order to truly see the effect.
Expect to see a lot of frightened and fleeing individuals.

While the rules do not cover this, I would have them roll opposed caster level checks modified by CHA. The highest total wins.

i posit that they can't carry out your commands very well while panicked.
