I am currently the healer of the group with a cleric & I might be about to get killed & if I am the only one to get killed I will have no choice but to make a healer again so I am wanting to make it as different as possible so I don't play the same character again
I have made a Human War Priest of Anubis & we are playing the Mummy's Mask campaign so we have to take gods from that game setting
I am not sure on my two chosen blessings Death & protection are they okay or any suggestions ?
I am also willing to change my chosen god if it means I get access to different & better blessings

If the weapon for which you have Weapon Focus has lower damage die than the one in the warpriest table you can use the listed damage.
In addition, after reaching 4th level you can enhance your weapon for a short time (a number of rounds per day equal to your warpriest level - they don't need to be consecutive so you can spend two rounds during one combat, one round during second combat, and one round during another one, for example). The weapon affected in this way gets +1 enhancement bonus for every four levels that stacks with existing enhancement. You can change a part of this bonus into magic weapon properties of the same value - for example keen weapon is a +1 equivalent property so you can give the sacred weapon a bonus 1 less than your level would allow to grant it keen.
Activating this ability is a swift action. The bonus applies only while you are wielding the weapon so you can't help your ally by passing him your weapon already enhanced.
EDIT: Hope this helps. Regretfully the messageboard does not support colors so no crayons ;)

Sacred Weapon broken into parts:
Your Sacred Weapon is your deity's favored weapon or any weapon you have weapon focus in.
Your Sacred Weapon's damage die improves to the die on the chart if the chart's die is higher.
At level 4 and beyond, you can temporarily add enhancements to your Sacred Weapon as a swift action.

I have gone with a +1 Heavy Flail...flail being my deitys favoured weapon I am level 4 already I did forget to say
+8 to hit 1D10+5 damage
the little chart printed on my sheet as part of its description says
medium 1d6 for 1st to 4th
so as heavy flail is more am i correct in saying i wont benefit from sacred weapon ?

Sure.
- Any weapon favored by your deity (or selected via Weapon Focus) becomes a Sacred Weapon.
- Sacred Weapons do increased damage as a Warpriest levels, sort of like a Monk.
- At level 4, you can spend a swift action to make a Sacred Weapon into a +1 Weapon. If it's already magical, you can instead increase its enhancement bonus by +1.
- Alternatively, if your Sacred Weapon is already magical, you can instead add special abilities like Flaming.
- You may only improve your Sacred Weapon in this manner for X rounds per day, equal to your Warpriest level.
- If you want to improve more than one Sacred Weapon, you must activate the ability twice (once on one round, and again on another round) and keep track of the total duration.
EDIT: super ninja'd =(

You are correct: you don't benefit from the constant sacred weapon effect because your regular damage die is already higher. Only after reaching 15th level your weapon damage die will improve to 2d6.
However, because you are 4th level you can for four rounds per day improve the flail's bonus by 1 to +2 heavy flail or add one of the +1 weapon properties: defending, flaming, frost, or shock (you cannot add keen to heavy flail because it only works on piercing or slashing weapon) plus vicious, merciful, ghost touch, thundering, spellstoring or mighty cleaving, depending on your alignment.
Note that activating this part of sacred weapon is a swift action so you can't do this in the same round in which you use your fervor to heal yourself or cast spell on yourself.
