I have my reasons which I did not specify & no reason to do it yet with lack of sufficient information

its the mummy's mask campaign & couple of my group are wearing the gold masks one of which is the big bad mask of the whole game :P while nothing bad is happening yet it may do down the road or start to slowly corrupt them I am trying to work out ahead of time what options are open to me & trying to find different ways to get the masks removed

(PLEASE DO NOT) tell me any spoilers about this campaign if you are familiar with it

my character would feel very much so he would be protecting many innocent people that far outweighs just the party members of my group if I felt I had to do this for the right reasons I would call that protection


any ideas ?


Is there a way for a Cleric of Wadjet with Protection & travel domains to do any of the following

Lower another players saves
or
Curse & item that is only active when they are wearing it & not be cursed when they are not wearing it

as my character is not physically strong & the other players have high or good all round saves it makes things difficult for me


yeah ive tried searching for arabic words i find those hard to pronounce


i like to put a funny thing into it but if you can come up with a easily pronounceable more sensible words im all ears :P

is there some pronounceable words I can use instead of Man & wife that would fit or even just sound like man and wife or i could comically say man & goat in some language

in the part that say i now pronounce you man and wife...but man & goat in some other language


what about pharasma and wadjet ? be interested to know but I was told

follow pharasma, and think a wadjet cleric is perfect as wadjet is about the people and land of osirian

so should be okay :-)


is there any information specifically regarding wadjets relationship with the other dietys ?


How would a cleric or more specifically a cleric of Wadjet conduct a wedding ceromony what would I say anyone got a script & what would he need ?

I have just been told that I may be about to be asked in game I got no idea how to do so


Yeah I have been told by a friend on facebook

1) A natural armour bonus Won't stack with another natural armour bonus. The highest will take effect.
2) A Nat armour bonus Will stack with a single Natural Armour Enhancement bonus. Eg Amulet or Barkskin.
Again only the highest Enhancement bonus will take effect if there is more than one

I think I am no 2 so I should be okay to stack my +1 amulet with the Linnorm AC thing only the amulet says enhancement the Linnorm thing does not

with sorcerer's if i take the wildblooded arctype and select Linnorm

it says

whever you cast a spell with an energy descriptor that matches your bloodline linnorm energy type you gain a natural armor bonus equal to the spells lvl for 1d4 rounds - would that stack with or overide a amulet of natural armor

I have a Amulet of natural armor +1 all ready

Does it stack with or over ride the amulet ?

amulet is enhancement bonus to natural armor
linnorm says natural armor bonus (does not say enhancement)

Carry Companion is the spell. I've got a witch NPC with a collection of hummeled critters. :)

It's from "Pathfinder Player Companion: Knights of the Inner Sea"

Sadly my character is a Cleric which I should of said so I can't do that spell sadly

we can only do spells from books we have or from PDF's if view on a large enough device ( house rule)

so I cant do that spell either way


okay few good ideas there im mentioning them to my Gm to see what he says the oil & waxed canvas might help with the less severe storms with the dust etc

would it help with more killer storms that do the real damage ?

do you know what that second level spell is & what book it is in ?


I am playing the Mummy's Mask campaign I have a Ant mount while everyone has camels because my character is scared of camels after the paladin failed to get it any commands so it bit me but anyway......

I have a ant mount & apparently ants breath through there joints so I am told which I did not know so what I would like to know is there a way to protect the ants joins from dust & the killer sandstorms in the desert journeys as they rapidly fill up (its joints) so it starts to suffocate which is not good

How would I go about it ?
What could I buy?
How much is it ?


any ideas on a sealed container that will be protected from sand so i can store food in it and not worry about it ?


also on a side note/unrelated question what is a good small relativly inexpensive container that can be sealed to be protected from sand ?


1d6 point on lethal damage and 1d3 points fire damage per hour of exposure (khamaseen storm)

normal sandstorm 1d3 non lethal per hour


1 - how do they cope in sandstorms on a scale from 1 to 10 - 10 being the removal of flesh from bone heat might not be a issue but I need to know about sandstorms

2 - do I need a exotic saddle

I am confused because it says Gecko, Riding and not large or Giant gecko riding

and also how well they cope in sandstorms no one has commented on the sandstorm part yet for any of the suggested mounts

yeah gecko I think is warm/wet

as you said dry would be a issue no idea how it would deal with sandstorms

my gm said something about lizard and that it might be able bury itself under the sand....someone else said the burying itself thing

we are playing mummy's mask if that helps to mention incase there is something in there I am not aware of


yes it shows horse running in the desert but how well do they cope in sandstorms and the heat ?

I am assuming they are not ordinary horses or you require feat or skills or something ?


I am playing a Half Gnoll Cleric who is scared of camels in general after his groups paladin failed to give the correct command to his camel & it bit me & being in a chariot race being pulled by camels

now we are planning & thinking about going out into the desert with all the typical desert conditions heat & sandstorms of various strengths

as my character is scared of camels which is common in a desert based enviroment/adventure is there a alternative mount that can be used for carrying equipment possibly even riding that is not a camel if so what & how much is it ?

remember it needs to be something suitable for a desert enviroment the heat & sandstorms to be able to cope well with them


The Necromancer fight going well so far we are traveling with a NPC called Teminib at the moment which I am playing as my cleric as mentioned earlier got killed by that Anubis statue cleared the undead and the 2 mummy's with a earth elemental the monk summoned and some of Teminibs bursts to harm undead and people wailing in got a scroll of summon vanth currently attacking the necromancer with everyone closing in on him at the moment hopefully will finish the fight next week

I like that idea to but I don't think the group I am in would do that or let me do that as good as it sounds :-(

destroying the mask idea sounds best so far but my next session with that character is not until next Tuesday or Tuesday after depending on how encounter goes & if I am raised or whatever afterwards

At the moment we are playing The Mummys Mask campaighn
& I am or was a level 7 Cleric of Sarenrae & we are very close to the main fight a necromancer now as you guys should all know a cleric of sarenrae take pride in killing undead & necromancers etc etc blah blah

but after last nights unfortunate session I got killed & looks very likely my character wont be there for the main fight so understandably if after the fight my character is raised & he learns he has missed out on that fight he wouldn ot be in a happy place understandably missing out on the main thing this character is expected to deal with and lives for/to do

so my question is how should i react afterwards being upset about this is my character is bought back when everyone is getting the recognition for it ?


My GM is very strict any chance that you can supply the page number it is in the book for the inner sea gods please ?

I am a bit of a idiot (understatement) can you explain what you mean by variant spell casting in that statement & tell me what page number in that book it is on ?

I am looking through Hero Labs at a caster level 3 spell to take when I am eventually level 8 I am playing a Cleric of Sarenrae with healing & Sun domain & the Deity's favoured weapon is Scimitar

So funnly enough I seem to be drawn to a spell called FLame Blade

Yes I can see there it says Druid 2 but what I am wondering is

why is it coming up in Hero labs as a choice for a Cleric ?
what book is this from ?
Can a Cleric take it ?


is there ever any situation or reason for a lawfull good or sanctified Rogue to have to steal for the right reason that is acceptable for a lawfull good cleric of sarenrae ? or is it allways repent your ways redeem yourself etc ?


how would say for example a Sanctified Rogue of Sarenrae act ?

could I use those as some sort of guideline to decide what to do with the Rogue ?

I am currently playing The Mummy's Mask campaign I am playing a cleric of Sarenrae & I am wondering how should I deal with our Rogue when or if I catch him out to be stealing even though he may be doing it for religious reasons as he worhips Bastet & it got me thinking more specifically how do Sanctified Rogues the PIOUS & good ones deal with stealing do they have guidline or rules for such things how do they deal with stealing ?


in my game we use house rules for certain things like shields etc

we say that light shields give +2 ac not +1 is there a way to edit it in hero labs to be a +2 ?


yes makes sense sounds like oracle curse or mystery thing will have a proper read through at descriptions etc when i have more time

I am trying to make in Hero Labs a Human Oracle Level 4

When I take the mystery Spell scar in it's description it says I can add survival & UMD to my list of class skills but when I go to the skills tab they are not showing up in blue which normally indicates it is a class skill

why is this & how do I solve this small issue ?

I am currently playing a Level 4 Cleric of Sarenrae who is half Gnoll & Human

I have decided for my character that after a in party death from which we have sorted out a raise I am feeling I have let this person & group down a bit & I feel my character would need to do something to atone or punish himself as the person who died was a fellow follower of Sarenrae I felt like a bit of a letdown & I am thinking my god may be a bit disapointed with me in this regard

so my question is how can I without knackering my character up can I punish myself or atone for that incident I feel that I want to do this but don't know how or where to start any suggestions pn how to RP this ?

i have just been told by GM that my god wouldnt care but if character felt different he could try & make up for it so any suggestion on that instead ?

I have gone with a +1 Heavy Flail...flail being my deitys favoured weapon I am level 4 already I did forget to say

+8 to hit 1D10+5 damage

the little chart printed on my sheet as part of its description says

medium 1d6 for 1st to 4th

so as heavy flail is more am i correct in saying i wont benefit from sacred weapon ?

I am currently the healer of the group with a cleric & I might be about to get killed & if I am the only one to get killed I will have no choice but to make a healer again so I am wanting to make it as different as possible so I don't play the same character again

can really see the ranger as a decent enough healer

I am not new I am just a bit thick & slow is all I find some stuff hard to understand I have been playing for ages :-)

Still would like someone to explain sacred weapon to me & make it sound simple


can someone explain to me and make it clear & very easy to understand in crayons for a thick person to understand what does sacred weapon do for a war priest

I find description to long & difficult to understand what there trying to say
