We have a kind of bizarre party makeup (half-orc Ranger, human Cleric, human Witch, and a dwarven Gunslinger) and we are having an absolute blast. We also get pretty drunk. Check it out!
Ha ha, yeah we don't really get drunk! Three beers tops. :) It's doing pretty well on iTunes, you should still check it out if you like! Here's the link to our actual home page:
This really is excellent. I started listening to it last night while painting some minis for my next Pathfinder session, and ended up getting paint in all the wrong places because I was laughing too hard.
I just want to say, I am really enjoying this podcast. I'm up to episode 4 now, and this feels like the next best thing to playing an AP. Giantslayer is probably my least likely AP to run or play, so this is such a great alternative.
This podcast is awaesome. I just recently had to take a night shift job and this has been a lifesaver. I have a group about to play Giantslayer so it's quite helpful and really funny also.
You know, I still need to get my arse in gear and start recording the rpgmp3.com playthrough at some point as well (just waiting for some existing games to finish off first).
Glass Cannon Podcast is the highlight of my week. It keeps getting better, and episode 100 this week was fantastic (and Troy is a horrible person... in the best kind of way).
This keeps getting better and better. I actually picked up the first three AP books, just to have reference for the podcast. Great blend of story telling and game play.
Just started listening to this, and has increased my desire to run Giantslayer after i am done my Mummy's Mask Game by a ton! Love it so far! Keep up the great work as i now spend many a days catching up...
I've been listening fairly regularly since about a week or two ago. This game sounds alot like the game that I run with my semi-regular group. It's pretty fun. I'm on episode 23 now.

That was crazy!
Spoiler:
Two deaths. And no conclusion to Della’s goal (confronting Brander).
I still think they’ll defeat Urathash (sp?) but it all depends on what Brander does.
Spoiler:
i don't think it'll be a combat. brandyr showing up to fight at this point is a guaranteed TPK.
my guess is that he'll be a recurring villain for rest of the books, esp since book 6 kinda needs some additional npc interaction.
that being said, while i disagree with troy's tactics and boost, i know exactly why he did what he did (or at least, i have a good guess for where he's going with it in book 4).

not so fast. that being said, i'm pretty sure troy just went and did what he did because he wanted to tell a certain story through book 4. i personally don't think that's cool,
especially because the party was looking at a tpk, and his monsters didn't need any boosts.
that being said this was an AMAZING EPISODE. very cool combat techniques, lots of fun being had, a shocking revelation at the end... the guys were on their game.

Just found this thread and so, as I only use Twitter to complain, thought I'd put my praise for the GCP here.
Discovered the podcast during my summer break and binge-listened through August and into September until I was caught up. As others have said, there are numerous episodes where I have laughed out loud and I always end up smiling when I'm listening (which attracts weird looks on commuter trains).
Brilliant work guys. I am now an avid weekly listener and Patreon supporter. My only (minor) critique is that there isn't enough. I miss the days of binge-listening when I had dozens of eps to catch up on and despite searching have not found anything that's anywhere near as good. Can't wait for the planned new content. Keep it coming!!

The GCP Podcast is a singular experience, nothing else is quite like it.
However, if you're looking for good adventure content now you're caught up:
Critical Role is now in Podcast form. Each episode is about 3 hours long and they have 114 episodes of the main completed campaign.
The Adventure Zone finished their Balance Campaign, which is a big stock of podcasts to keep you sated between GCP episodes.

There's also two amazing Starfinder podcasts which are running DEAD SUNS that I follow: ROGUE EXPOSURE, and ROLL FOR COMBAT. Rogue Exposure is run by some college kids in Texas while Roll for Combat is older players who cut their teeth in the DnD of the 1970s and 80s. You get two really interesting perspectives on the game and the campaign, which is excellent...
and which is getting a bit bizarre, since I'm playing a PC in our DEAD SUNS campaign, AND next month the GCP is going to start running the same AP.
That'll be four different sets of characters running the same AP that I'm going to have to keep up with.

Thanks both. Will check out those suggestions. Found one Dead Suns podcast that wasn't bad but it wasn't one of those. Will check out Critical Role and Adventure Zone as well.

Spoiler:
anyhow, i hated the choice joe made. orc would have been MUCH better, both mechanically and for the RP. remember, L has been divided his whole life, and he's had three massive interactions with full bloods which were critical to his RP & development - Skreed, Karrguk, and Orfas - and he's carrying GORUM'S THORN. This really should have been a no brainer. I'm pretty disappointed, but we'll see how it goes. With those penalties, and the party composition methinks it won't go on for very long.
I wasn't too thrilled about the story development in general, They went through such a big production about Lorc getting his feet back a couple episodes ago, and it all didn't matter, since those regenerated feet are on a corpse, and the reincarnated body would've had feet no matter what.

heading into book 4... I am not sure the party is ready for the dire challenges ahead... if that first combat is any indicator, they may be in WAY over their heads.
