Envelopes or boxes

Customer Service

Hi. How much stuff can you cram inside a rigid white shipping envelope? I am asking because those brown cardboard golem boxes have two problems. One, they are not delivered home, but instead go to a post office, and picking them up requires travel and time (I'm busy and/or lazy). Two, those clinging packaging peanuts are horrible (first world problems, yay).

I could ask for various combinations of books, but a more practical question might be this: If overseas Shipping & Handling costs stay under $10, does that mean the books come in an envelope?

Everything I have received thus far has been in expected condition, with nothing broken* or busted. So this is a question of convenience, not a problem with shipping or product condition.

*with the possible exception of my mind, after trying to clean up those peanuts.

Hi Naal,

Shipping methods and materials are determined by item and weight and what items will be able to fit into which various packages.

So, one or two of the smaller softcover books usually go into an envelope. Sometimes 3, depending on the thickness/weight.

If hard cover items are added, it will most likely go in a box. If package weight allows, we try to ship books inside envelopes inside the boxes (rather than using peanuts). However, since international packages going standard post have a weight limit of 4 pounds per package, sometimes the envelopes can put the weight limit over the edge, so we have to use the peanuts instead.

Glad to hear that nothing has arrived broken...and I hope your mind recovers :/

If you have any further questions or concerns, please let us know.

Thanks!
~Sharaya

Thank you!
The FLGS has the hardcovers and most pawns in stock, so I can get any missing ones easily. Older softcover stuff is harder to backorder with them, so I prefer to get it directly from you.

I just made an order (number 890499). It is not a huge one, but if you need to use a box for that, please let me know so I can alter the order.

And don't worry too much about my mind. Over the years my players have probably damaged it beyond repair with their shenanigans anyway. :-p
