PDF is available on the 29th. Subscribers may get it sooner, but the physical books will be available at Gen Con on the 30th.

It was literally the result of a bet if he could make an engaging series from two horrible starting concepts. (Arguing which is more important author skill or initial concept) The results were the lost roman legion and pokemon. Link.
