I have a quick question about the GenCon Indy 2015 GM Guidelines and Instructions I received today (figured I'd ask it here, since we're all GenCon GMs):

Besides your assigned scenarios, all GMs are expected to prep and be capable of running any of the following should their scheduled event get cancelled:

#5-08 The Confirmation
#6-10 The Wounded Wisp
Beginner Box Quests (Ice, Isles, Mask, Ruins, Relics, Tombs, Tomes, Waves, Woods)

Should I prep all three of those, or any one of those? I'm already running Wounded Wisp and I'll have the Confirmation prepped. Just wondering if I need to learn the Beginner Box Quests.

I know Mike blogged about this year's Gen Con events but I don't remember seeing the other season's not specifically removed.

It will only be season 6 and 7 scenarios this year. From what I hear, that's the normal pattern?

Two years ago they had a mix of scenarios from many different seasons. It sounds and looks like they are only going to be featuring the current season and introducing the new season from now on.

I know Mike blogged about this year's Gen Con events but I don't remember seeing the other season's not specifically removed.

Two years ago was Pathfinder's 5th anniversary and Paizo's 10th. The scenarios they chose for GenCon was a collection of seasonal favorites. That was the only year they've done more than the newest season and the previous season's scenarios. At the time they explained why they were doing throwback scenarios, but now everyone seems surprised when they don't see them every year.

If you're looking for specific scenarios, you might talk to Mark Stratton and see if he can't schedule them for Wednesday at Scottys.

So let's do the math ...

17 scenarios x 2 (normal or core) = 34
2 Kids Track with 9 possible scenarios (4 for basic, 5 for advanced) = 9
3 different Goblin adventures = 3
Quests (ongoing, many version but we'll just call this one table) = 1
4 Card game scenarios = 4
2 different Beginner Box

If I'm not forgetting anything, that's 53 different tables. And don't forget, PFS is TWICE the size it was two years ago.

Two years ago I believe Mike still worked HQ. Now we know why he get's his minions to run it. (One more fun math fact ... it takes 4 head HQ volunteer to equal 1 Mike).
