WotR Card Counts

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

Any chance we get another card count (one-sided, double-sided) for the complete set? I want to bulk-buy sleeves. Thanks in advance.

5 people marked this as a favorite.

159 double-sided, 1011 with standard backs. Plus 9 promo cards with standard backs, plus the Ekkie promo pack, which has 4 double-sided cards (character, role, token, and explanation card).

I care nothing for card sleeves, but 159 double-sided...

IIRC S&S had quite a similar amount of double-sided cards but do we have less standard cards? Correct me if I'm wrong, but did S&S not have around 1100 cards with standard back?

According to the card list I downloaded from BGG, there's 1020 standard cards and 160 double-sided cards in Skull and Shackles, including its promo cards. Sounds pretty close to me.

You have to remember, there's a lot of different cards that use both sides.

Characters alone, base and add on deck you have 33 cards (Stat, role, and token card). Another 4 for Ekkie, you're at 37 already.

Assuming 6 adventures and a B adventure at 5 scenarios, that's another 43 (AP, 7 Adventure cards, 35 scenarios). Now you've got 80. Plus the corruption card, 81.

78 left, and locations are probably most, if not all. That's not bad at all. I feel like I'm missing a card type.

In S&S you had Ships.

I'm just counting for WotR for now. Although now it really does bug me. No way we get 78 locations (we haven't had nearly that many before, have we?), so what else could it be?!?!

In WotR you have Mythic Path and Cohort cards. The Mythic Paths, at least, seem likely to be double-sided.

56 in RotR, 59 in S&S, I believe. 78 does seem a bit high.

Mythic Path cards should be double-sided; Cohorts won't be, since there are mechanisms for recharging those.

I'm at work, so card-less, but isn't it about 30 ships in S&S?

Sovereign Court

Ah Mythics, yes. So rounding up locations from earlier sets to 60, that leaves 18 cards. Let's say 8 Mythic Paths

20. (19 from the fleet card and the Goblin Weidling promo.)

There's 6 Mythic Paths, unless they're wandering farther away from the RPG than they have so far. There might be more than one card per path, either to expand on options ("Mythic Feats") or to let more than one character have each path.

There are two more promo ships later on as well.

Ahh, my bad. Did some updating:

22 Ships (19+3), 13 different Promo cards. (But you might have multiple copies of the Blessing.)

In the intro blog where they started discussing Wrath, I believe Vic specifically said they weren't sitting at just 6 paths.

That is so not what I said!

… and the count shall be six and six shall be the count …

Seven shalt thou not count, neither count thou five (except that thou then proceed to six); eight is RIGHT OUT!

Sovereign Court

Wow you basically said the complete opposite, almost a confirmation that six IS the number. It was TWO that you said it about. Sorry

And now for the latest sports results :
After much debates between the referees, it's a mythic 6-2 win for Vic against Andrew.

Is there an actual count per card type somewhere. Would like to lay out my dividers and cut foam for my card box.

Sorry, no. There *is* a good reason we haven't provided them so far, but I can't share it yet.

Now, *that* is fascinating.

More surprise new types like the Knights in Adv2 I'm guessing
