Gun Mage type?

Advice

I was sorely disappointed at there being no Gun Mage prestige class or some such, maybe an archetype, for Gunslingers. Yeah there is the Spellslinger, but it's for WIZARDS and not Gunslingers.

And I could end up dying of old age waiting on Paizo to make more Gunslinger archetypes and prestige classes.

Is there any 3rd Party material to help me with this?

As a matter of fact, there is, check out Flying Pincushions Into the Breach: the Gunslinger. It has many options for gunslinger, including the gungineer alternate base class, and the gray eye PrC that combines necromancy and guns. There is plenty of other stuff in there that may help or work for your desired build. And in the spirit of full disclosure, I am one of the co-owners of the company ;)

I know there's one for cleric / gunslinger combos, but I don't know of one for gunslingers that add arcane magic to their attacks other than Spellslinger.

One suggestion I'd make: try adapting the Arcane Archer to interact with guns instead of bows, to get a gunslinger / arcane caster PrC.

A lot of the reason is that it's much more of a pain to incorporate spells to a martial class than martial abilities to a spellcasting class. Spellslinger is your best option, or you can try to modify the Myrmidarch into functionality (you'll need free-action reload fairly quickly to work with guns, and you need Spell Combat to work with ranged weapons).

And, here is a link to the product page for your viewing pleasure...

http://paizo.com/products/btpy989q?Into-the-Breach-Gunslinger

Also, in future TFPG products there will be more gunslinger x other class crossover PrC's and such coming, but for now Into the Breach: the Gunslinger contains everything we have created for fans of black powder power thus far (that is finished and printed anyway)

Oh, and because the Gungineer is an Int based alt class, it would stack very well with wizard, plus who doesn't want a super customizable gun with mad inventor tech abilities....

While both of those are cool.. quite a few peopel aren't allowed to use 3rd part ystuff sadly which I think those both are?
and some people like me can't use anything not on the main paizo.com site. Granted you asked about 3rd party but I figure it can't hurt to mention this. Since it's easy enough to gloss over if your not a fan (as its pretty costy to pull of compared to a striaght forward charactter)

I made a sorta gunmage once. It does kinda toe the rule line though

1lv of spellslinger, blade adept arcanist, gunslinger (if you wish as it has the martial qualties you need) then once lv 5 blade arcanist into eldritch knight.

Use a dagger pistol or sword cane pistol. This is a one handed weapon.
This is one of the squiffy points... It's labled in the book as a ranged weapon but it is also a double weapon. So in theory it's a ranged and a melee one handed weapon..
So the black blade could be the blade portion. Now I"m not sure if that means you can not enchantthe gun portion or not. My GM allowed me to pay for the pistol side enhancments, while the blade was properly the blackblade (but in general the weapon took the properties of a blackblade) So ask your gm.. if pfs who knows. If your lucky you'll be able to apply the blade adept's biuff ability to it (though i think that ability doesn't work off caster level so maybe don't)

Assuming your gm is ok with how it goes..
Now you can use your arcanist spells to fire through, while using extra spells (or those lv 1 spells a the very least from wizard) to buff up the gun portion.
with weapon fineese you can also fight in close..
So it's sorta FF8 meets G unmage

Otherwise I guess just spellslinger + myrdrrmitch magus (kinda squiffy but if your gm helps streamline the weirdness some people have with it it'l lwork)

Though sadly in both cases it's less gunny and more magicy
but the third party stuff looks pretty neat.

Thank you all for the suggestions I will look into those
