tiefling options

I've got a level one tiefling that I want to respec before level two. My question is in regards to the extra options.

First, do you need to take the heritage feat in order to pick a specific heritage, or can you just take them for free?

Second, what about the options that appear as a random table? Can any of those options be taken, and what is replaced. For instance, I want an additional stat boost, what would that replace?

Can't really answer the first as my tieflings and aasimars were locked in before season 6, but the second item never was available in PFS. Pages 16 and 17 (the random list) of blood of fiends is not listed as legal in the additional resources. Same with pages 18-19 in blood of angels for aasimars.

For picking a heritage, I presume you mean the ones on pages 18-19, like Asura-Spawn (Faultspawn)?

For those, just choose, no feat required, but they need to be listed as legal for the Blood of Fiends book in the Additional Resources document, and you need to have either the hardcopy book, or a watermarked printout of the rules for the heritage you are taking with your PC.

Also, to have a Tiefling PC, you need to either have a "played this PC as a Tiefling" chronicle dated before 8/14/14, or one of the Tiefling boons.
