You must have exactly 33xp.

If their last scenario was a 1xp game they could slow track it and end up on 33xp.

If it was a 3xp module where they took full credit they could slow track that and they would be at 32xp and need another scenario before playing.

If it was a slow tracked 3xp module they are stuck unless there is an option to choose not to take a chrinicle sheet after playing a game. Players cannot do that but if they GM'd their last game they could choose to take no credit.

Thanks, I'll ask the player if this helps

Is there a hard rule that the character must have exactly 33 exp, or can I fudge that a bit? Or, is there anything I or the player can do to be legally eligible?

Material available in PFS for characters above level 11:

1-46 EotT 1: Requiem for the Red Raven 12
1-54 EotT 2: The Maze of the Open Road 12
2-05 EotT 3: Red Revolution 12
2-22 EotT 4: Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained 12

Just a point of clarification, characters will be level 13 for EotT parts 3 and 4.

Anyway, there are a couple of paths to lvl 20 that you can take your PFS character... The one I'm looking at for my Barbarian is:

General play to lvl 12
Eyes of the Ten to 13.2
Academy of Secrets to 14.2
All for Immortality to 15.2
Tomb of the Iron Medusa to 16.2
Moonscar to 17.2
Witchwar to 18.2
Either Runelords 6 or Shattered Star 6 to 19.2
and finally,
Race for the Rune-Carved Key to 20.

This is more or less the path my first character is on, minus the All for Immortality. I'm looking for what path I should take for my second high level character.

Yes, this is exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you.

Do any of these require the character play through a seeker arc beforehand?

I've played Eyes, that's why I'm looking at other options to play other characters past 11

Largely this is modules, segments of AP's, Wardens of the Reborn Forge and the new All for Immortality seeker arc.

Don't modules sanctioned for society play require the character to have been played through a "retirement scenario" beforehand?

2/5

What options are there besides Eyes of the Ten to play beyond level 12?

2/5

Are there any more? I would expect there to be more of an overarching storyline to the society than a handful of scenarios

2/5

I know I played at least one scenario in which you are trying to get a centaur to represent the society in the ruby Phoenix tournament. What scenarios are those?

Also, what are the building an army scenarios that build to assault on the wound?

And I've played one 7-11 in which there was something to do with sine words of power or something concerning a rune lord? What are those scenarios?

2/5

I want to run a series of scenarios that highlights the overarching storyline of pfs in regards to the specials. Starting with season 0, what are the scenarios that lead up to each special? Also, what scenarios would you consider essential to understanding what's going on with the society?

2/5

I've got a level one tiefling that I want to respec before level two. My question is in regards to the extra options.

First, do you need to take the heritage feat in order to pick a specific heritage, or can you just take them for free?

Second, what about the options that appear as a random table? Can any of those options be taken, and what is replaced. For instance, I want an additional stat boost, what would that replace?

Thanks in advance.

Also, could a blood rager?

For the domain powers that are a touch attack, can you use them with spring attack? Also, if you miss, does it still expend a use?

How does the metamagic feat, reach spell, interact with the communal versions of spells?

No, you cannot.

Why?

At level 1 when you choose your 2 traits, you are a barbarian and therefore only qualify for Berserker of the Society and not Exalted of the Society.

That's what I was afraid of.

The limit on traits is based on which are A) Society Play Legal and B)From differing Categories.

Berserker is Combat and Exalted is Faith, so you should be OK.

The issue I see is whether you have to take both traits at first level, because then the character wouldn't be able to take Exalted.

Hi, I'm making a Clebarian starting at 3rd level with GM credit. My question is whether I can take both "Berserker of the Society" and "Exalted of the Society?" First level is Barbarian and then Cleric from then on. Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys. This is indeed for society play, so I appreciate the interjection majuba.

Can a wizard make his bonded ring a ring of freedom of movement even though wizards don't have access to the spell? The wording in the entry for bonded object just says that you have to meet the level requirement.

thanks

What happens if I decided to perform the ritual to bond to a new object while the old object is still intact? Especially if I've previously added an enhancement to it through the Arcane Bond feature.

I was trying to create the event, but there isn't a box to check for any of the modules. How do I report the event, or do I need to at all?

Does the thrown weapon do damage as well, thereby delivering a sneak attack to the struck opponent, or does it just explode, doing at most 5d6 damage?

Andrew, if I cast my permanent duration spell in one session does it not carry over to the next session?

David, could you explain why you rule that spell storing items start an adventure empty and staffs fully recharge between each adventure? The spell storing items being empty seems kinda harsh. Also, I thought that I read that permanent effects stayed with the character; if you catch a disease you have it until it is cured, but if you cast something with a permanent duration it goes away no matter what? That doesn't make sense to me.

2/5

How does it work if I want to cast a spell that has a multiple day duration or is permanent? Can my character cast prep spells between adventures, or do I have to cast any spells while at the table? Can I sit down and say 'yesterday I cast these spells in preperation for today's adventure'?

Speaking of which and while I'm at it, how does the 2nd level spell 'retrieve item' work if the item is stored in an extrademinsional space, like a bag of holding?
