I want to suggest a Cleric of Urgathoa. You have a scythe to attack with, you can use the magic domain to attack at range, you can use variant channeling (disease) to get a nasty area debuff if you invest in charisma, you can use traits to get Toppling Spiritual Weapon as a level 2 spell, it has a lot going for it. It doesn't do fireballs, so if that is a deal breaker go EK instead, but between magic scythe attacks and negative channeling it does have attack magic. And you can always do your full caster stuff like Summon Monster or Blessing of Fervor if your other tricks don't seem appropriate.
