I think only having a button to create a character and assuming the character is CORE until a Normal Campaign chronicle is reported would solve a lot of pain and simplify things both technically and socially.

In my first PbP Core game one of the players, just created, discovered at the end he had not properly created the character when I was not able to report him. In the end he had to create yet another character and leave the first one freeze, without use.

Yet, this is a little problem in PbP (and the above solution not supported by PFS rules as the chronicle was assigned to a character that has not played), but on real life, when you report perhaps 1 or 2 days after the event, it can be an absolute pain to discover one or two of your new players had not properly created the characters they played.

So that's my suggestion, make all characters Core until they have a chronicle and provide only one creation button.

I just encountered something. I ran a core scenario today that I had previously run in the standard campaign. I didn't get any prestige from it. it was reported properly as a PFC game.

"Player has already run scenario at session..."

+1. I too have experienced this. Now, Chronicles reign supreme over web interface, but it is a little bit confusing if you're not expecting it.

Is this likely to be fixed, or should we treat it the way we treat evergreens (ie thank the website for its input and take the chronicle anyway)?

Damned if I can find the thread again, but there was a post in the last couple days saying they had a fix and it was being tested. No release date given, but they're definitely working on it and I expect it to be soon.

Too late to edit, but here's the latest.

Just to catch on everything, feel free to nudge if I'm missing something.

@nosig: I haven't forgotten about you, I'm waiting for our latest db pull so I have access to your new character.

@Ellen/Serisan: That is fixed internally and will be rolled out with the next release.

@melferburque: As a player or GM? I know you quoted text as a player, I just wanted to make sure.

Yes, what melferburque is experiencing, I also experienced while reporting Con of the North last weekend.

Event #51056
Sessions #s: 28, 36, 59, 77.

It appears that evergreen scenarios are not allowing unlimited replay, and the ability to replay (or get GM credit again) for scenarios played in regular PFS, is not reporting correctly when you replay in Core.

mine actually wasn't an evergreen, but rather running a scenario under CORE I had previously run under the standard campaign.

event 57125 session 1 reports as a duplicate of event 17852 session 25

I've always had an issue of evergreens showing up as stating I'd already had credit for them, I just ignored it.

no real hurry for me... I am guessing that most people (even me) can figure that my Tiefling GunTank is actually NOT a Core PC... even if he comes up that way in the system.

Did the GM report the module you played as Standard instead of Core?
