Gun Twirling and single weapon TWF

Rules Questions

Dark Archive

Would a character with Gun Twirling, Quickdraw and TWF be able to do the following?
1. Fire gun with primary hand
2. Reload gun
3. Holster gun
4. Draw gun with off-hand
5. Fire gun with off-hand

Yes. Though I believe you are counted as dual-wielding one-handed weapons and not light.

PS: please don't do this with double barreled weapons. It's very dumb and the wording on the pistol-variant is unclear on how it works with full-attacks.

Well, the idea would of course be to use this strategy with a kasatha pistolero wielding a double barreled pistol.

A Kasatha dual-wielding double barreled muskets would be quite horrifying.

But more on topic, I'm not sure what the intent for Gun Twirling was in (it was in Champions of Balance, right?) but to me it seems like it was built for this very purpose and carries the flavorful dazzling display package as feat tax and alternate use, mostly.

Actually, I've changed my mind. After reviewing some FAQs (here is the most important), I think you need two separate weapons. Apologies for my earlier response. Partially me misreading the question and it being quite late for me.

Two weapon fighting requires two weapons. The FAQ sets a precedent, but the initial ruling of TWF forces two weapons:

"If you wield a second weapon in your off hand, you can get one extra attack per round with that weapon."

It must be a second weapon, RAW. Holstering and re-drawing your first weapon does not magically transform it into a second weapon.

Grand Lodge

With the exception of the unarmed strike, and double weapons, you need two different weapons.

No matter how you can deconstruct RAW, I would say this is not worth fighting.

I did something similar in the Beta Playtest, with a Scimitar, and though it was quirky, and fun, I would never do it again.
