I am going to be joining a new Kingmaker campaign. The creation guidelines are 25 point buy, core races, all classes except ACG. Are party consists of a druid (focusing on wildshape), wizard (conjuration - item creation focus), bard (dervish dancer or dervish of dawn going shadowdancer for character concept), cavalier (focusing on chargers), and a ranger (archery). I have decided to play a human, RP purposes, and am intent on going some kind of divine class, except no Paladin (don't like lawful good and I am poor at playing it anyways). I am torn between a cleric, oracle, and an inquisitor. I do not want to be a "heal bot" but am unsure of the main role I need/want to play. I can see a tank being helpful as well as another damage dealer. I have not selected a deity yet as I am waiting to figure out what I want to play and how to mold it into my backstory. If the bard decides to go dervish of dawn I thought about having the same deity and playing their relationship up as the reason I am going to the Stolen Lands. Any advice on what a better class would be as well as a better role would be appreciated. I am not the best at making class.
I should also note, that myself and the GM are not fans of complete stat dumping or super optimizing of classes. I like fun classes that are effective but that I can make a good backstory up and tie everything together.

Unless I am mistaken, both Bard Archetypes you mentioned are associated with Sarenrae...
The down side of this is that she is something of the quintessential 'healbot' deity in Pathfinder. Of course, she is also associated with flame, so if you wanted to focus more martial, you certainly could.
The fact that the Bard is planning to go Shadowdancer could open up some interesting RP opportunities as well.
On a completely different tack, my personall favorite Pathfinder Deities are Milani & Kurgess. Milani even has some ties to the River Kingdoms, as one of them not too far away is ruled by a Paladin of hers.
Basically, I would really recommend you pick a deity first & then figure out how to incorporate your 'team role'.

Well, it depends on wether you already have someone in the party with a really high CHA score (since down the line you want that person to become the ruler).
For Kingmaker i prepared two builds that were both off-tanks, full spell caster and could heal when needed.
The reach cleric and the reach battle oracle, i ended up picking up battle oracle for the purpose of becoming the ruler, ended up being a full-plate wielding oracle with martial weapon prof. and full spellcasting ability, the synergy of the build comes together with combat reflexes allowing you to make attacks of opportunity (with a nice oomph of damage) while still being able to cast as a full spellcaster. With 25 point-buy i see it as really feasible (i rolled for stats and ended up with 29 point buy) and it is a build that fully utilizes the high point buy.

See if you can get some hints from your GM on what direction he wants to take the story. Otherwise, from an RP standpoint, I think the inquisitor is an excellent way to go, particularly if you choose to be a LN inquisitor of Abadar. In contrast to the cavalier and the bard, you can be a darker, more ruthless champion dedicated to building your kingdom (and civilization) for the greater glory of Abadar.

Our GM likes RP more than combat and intends to focus heavy on the kingdom building and the extra stuff from Ultimate Campaign book. Our bard, is more about stealth, espionage and that kind of stuff, that is why she is going shadowdance and an archetype that gives more self-buffs and focuses on dex (I think Lelianna from Dragon Age). The cavalier is almost stereotypical knight stuff, rise up from almost peasant to King kind of deal.

You already have a solidly built field, I would recommend a divine character like oracle as an "all rounder" as you have sufficient tankage in the cavalier (Kingmaker is great for the cavalier).
As for King, it's your highest charisma character ideally, probably the bard (he can make inspiring speeches). Your Cavalier should become General - all the kingdom roles pan out well if you pick the right person. Ranger is best off as Marshal, wizard as magister, druid could well be High Priest.

For Kingmaker, Erastil is probably the most thematic, particularly in the first book. I play a Warpriest of Gorum in a Kingmaker game on book 3, who also has a bit of an emphasis in later books. An Inquisitor of Erastil would really fit in with the first book. If you haven't, I suggest downloading the Player's Guide from the website (it's free). If you go Erastil, you won't be disappointed.
