Pathfinder Society GM MIA -- What do we do?

We have had a difficult experience having party deaths in the first encounter.

Having spent money before returning to try and rescue incapacitated party members, our DM is MIA.

Anyone know what we do? Is there a PbP venture captain we can call?

I am assuming our characters are frozen until this is resolved.

The online PFS area does have its own Venture Officers, took me awhile to find them, its on the List between Oklahoma and Oregon.

Which encounter are you in, i.e. how far in are you?

Ideally, you will find another GM to take over. Is there any organization on this site for replacement GMs in PFS games? What's the mechanism for invoking it?

Over at Myth-Weavers, when a GM goes silent (or, sometimes, if the GM knows he's fading, at his request), another GM will step in and finish a game. Players disappear from games, but we never leave games completely abandoned.

I don't know if the PFS playing on this site has a similar safety net in place.

Contacting the PFS online VOs is the way to go. The e-mail address to do that is [e-mail]. They will contact your GM and potentially assign a new one to finish the game.

We are on the first encounter of the Silver Mount Collection. I am the senior character trying to rescue the bodies of the fallen, both alive and dead.
