Two-weapon Fighting plus Powerful Build

Product Discussion

I have looked around and don't see this addressed anywhere else. If you have a race with Powerful Build (say half-giant) and you take the Two-weapon Fighting feat, what size does the weapon in your off hand have to be? Does it get the benefit of increased size as well allowing it to be medium, or does it still have to be light?

Odd case. I believe you could use a large light weapon without additional penalties but not a medium one-handed weapon.

With Two-Weapon Fighting as a half-giant, you could wield two Large one-handed weapons at a -4 penalty to each swing. You could wield a Large one-handed weapon and a Large light weapon at a -2 penalty to each swing. Oddly, since a half-giant is still a medium creature, the same would apply to Medium weapons (you aren't treated as a Large creature, you can just use weapons designed for a Large creature).

This should really be in the appropriate 3pp forum. Powerful Build is not a Paizo feature.

If this were about, say, the Redcap's Heavy Weapons ability, this would be an appropriate forum.

It is not.

This is 3rd party.
