I'm building a Human Slayer, Dex focus... planning to go DW with Weapon Finesse and Slashing Grace. It's a 15-point buy game, starting at 4th level. Any pointers?
Idea: STR: 8 DEX: 15 CON: 14 INT: 12 WIS:10 CHA:12
It is going to be a heavy RP game, so I don't want to neglect my bluff/diplomacy.. but I could still se putting the CHA down to 10.(but no penalty.)
With a negative modifier to strength, what problems will I come into? (I mean the feats should cover hit and damage.)
low str is low carry limits. So make sure your gear doesn't get to heavy for you if you're following those rules.
Also I'm guessing DW is Dual Wield, and unless your GM is ruling that slashing grace works for light weapons it's hard for slashing grace to work with weapon finesse. And if it only works for one-handed weapons and you dual wield then you're taking -4 to your attack rolls instead of the -2.
Unless you are a swasbuckler or plan to use a whip you wont be happy with slashing grace. It only allows Dex to damage on weapons that dosent work with finesse.
Dervish Dance or that rapier dex to damage May be a plan.
15 points is hard if you want good stats in every thing. But getting 16 in str and 12 in rest is not terrible and i guess i would go with that.
