Looking for an item with heat but no chance of fire damage

Advice

I don't have access to all of the books so I was hoping for some help. I'm looking for a magical or mundane item that gives off heat but will not catch something on fire. I know it sounds weird but thank you.

Blackfire Clay sounds like it's exactly what you're looking for.

The Prestidigitation cantrip can warm things, but cannot create fires. And I'm sure there's a Prestidigitation-item out there.

There's several items I can think of that do that.
There's the already mentioned blackfire clay(UE), heatstones(ISWG), and, while maybe not quite what you're looking for, there's also campfire beads(APG).

The Apprentice's Cheating Gloves are the prestidigitation item you're thinking of. They may not quite warm up as much as you like, though. Unless your DM is a fan of RAW and rules light.

A Heatstone seems a very good choice with the 20 foot radius. Thanks for the ideas folks.

We are playing in the Thornkeep campaign. We have control of the keep but a plague killed a majority of the town and the rest left. It's winter time and the folks that died in their homes are still contagious. I/We were looking for a way to heat their homes without going past the front doors. The heat is needed to speed up the drying process and making them no longer contagious

If you need a bigger area, there's always Cube of Frost Resistance.

Although constant 65f might not be as warm as you're looking for.
