There will be spoilers so if you haven't played in Kingmaker yet, you've been warned.

I played in a Kingmaker game but we finished after the 4th book. My group is looking for a game and I thought I'd give it a go. What would you change about the story? The players are using 20 point buy, anything but Summoners, Feats, Spells and Traits from any book.

I thought that with the Lich, I'd add in some tomes with information about Narissa, to introduce some history into the game prior to Briar.

Anything else that you think will be useful, handy or cool, is appreciated.

What we did in our current game is following the example of the spell: Skeleton Sailor, was to have the PC Wizard to make the spell: Skeleton Farmer. Solves any problem with needed knowledge or skills.

If your group didn't kill all of the bandits at the Stag lord's fort, the second in command would make for a nice Spymaster. I don't remember his name but could look it up if needed.

After seeing how much better off the area is with the new group in charge, he could easily have a change of mind/heart and want to work with them.

A Heatstone seems a very good choice with the 20 foot radius. Thanks for the ideas folks.

We are playing in the Thornkeep campaign. We have control of the keep but a plague killed a majority of the town and the rest left. It's winter time and the folks that died in their homes are still contagious. I/We were looking for a way to heat their homes without going past the front doors. The heat is needed to speed up the drying process and making them no longer contagious

I don't have access to all of the books so I was hoping for some help. I'm looking for a magical or mundane item that gives off heat but will not catch something on fire. I know it sounds weird but thank you.

I was thinking the same but I was informed by my GM that there were class abilities that would still detect the evil but not given any details.

If an Evil Alignment Character is wearing a Ring of Mind Shielding, what class abilities or powers will still detect them as evil?

Aioran, yes that is what I am asking. In the game today, my Wizard would normally have a Con of 12 but due to Cloudkill, the stat was lowered to a 6. Would it be a death at -6 or at -12 HPs?

Sorry for posting this three times. It was unintentional.

Looking through the main book, I couldn't find a solid rule. If you have temporary Con damage, can you still go to negative your normal stat before death or do you only go to your temporary score?

In two weeks, I will be running a game so I am wanting to start with a module. Two of the players are rusty but experienced with RPGs. It will be the first time for the third player. Any suggestions are greatly appreciative.
