Well, while it won't hold the contents of 2 full class decks, it really isn't necessary to have all of the cards with you at once, as you don't need the level 5 and 6 cards at level 1, and you won't go back and add in level 1 and 2 cards at the end of the season.
Even so the size is odd for our uses, though I am guessing that is because that is a standard size for them for Magic dual deck boxes, so it simply required new art instead of a whole new product.
I might add this to my collection at some point just for the logo on it, but honestly it wouldn't be my first choice for day to day transport.
As an aside, I also sadly report that my lauded satin tower is really a tough squeeze to get all of the cards sleeved from a class deck in when using the ultra matte sleeves, though everything fits smashingly when you don't include the other 9 cards that aren't needed for a single character for organized play. They do all fit, but it is tighter than I would prefer. Definitely designed for 100 cards, not 110.

That's what I mean. You aren't going to be carrying around 2, but I'm just going through the possible intentions for it. It holds more than one, but it doesn't hold 2 full so that isn't the intent (since it's called duel deck it was possible, wasn't sure if they were just naming it based on the MtG sized boxes).
I'd hope there was actually a reason and not just "Let's make it the same size as our other boxes even though it doesn't make snese".

Hmmm. Interesting. What I'd really like to see, though, would be a basic style box that's the perfect size to hold all 7 class decks that are currently out, sleeved or unsleeved (maybe with some foam pieces for people who don't have all of the class decks yet and/or don't sleeve their cards), with dividers for each deck. That's something I'd buy.

One thing to remember with organzied play, you don't need to sleeve all the cards, just the ones "in play" so to speak. By my estimate, with you class deck for organized play, you would need the following materials:
15-20 sleeved cards (Depends on card feats.)
90-95 unsleeved cards (Depends on above sleeved cards.)
15 extra sleeves (In case cards are acquired during play. 15 seems like enough to be save.)
All that might fit in one compartment. If it does, you can carry two class decks in one box. But one class deck certainly fits in two compartments with lots of space to spare. That leaves you some space for maybe a standee/pawn and maybe some dice.

Character sheet? Folded? EEEEWWWWWW
I've actually had great success trimming down one of the new character sheets and then folding it in half twice... you still get all of the skills and powers on a single side, the card list is on the flip side, and when I upgrade to a role it will just require a single unfolding.

I cannot recommend these enough.
I do exactly what Hawkmoon describes; sleeve my active deck, leave the unused cards unsleeved, and keep 15 extra sleeves in the box. It all fits with a little extra room to spare.
The character token card fits nicely in the front display, which looks great on your shelf. And I can fit two sets of dice in the detachable compartment.

Does anyone know when this will come out?
I'll be sure excited if I can really fit my whole class deck and a set of dice to go with it!
They should be out in November.
I have a sample at my desk, and you can indeed fit your whole class deck, *several* sets of dice, folded character sheets, extra sleeves, and more.

Looks like Ultra PRO has something new in the works.
Saw this paper case already one month ago ...
for me it does not look like a premium product. There are so many card cases out there ... I would prefer a clear pastic one. Where you may look inside thru the clear plastic and know what card deck is in there.

It's not paper—it's soft but sturdy plastic, as are the dividers. And note there's a space designed into the top surface for you to label the contents.

My favourite style deck box:
Here in the Paizo store.
It has a capacity of 100 sleeved cards, right one for exactly one class deck.
You put the character token to the front of the card pile and it shines thru the clear plastic box. In my opinion this is cool.
What do you think?

It works for that purpose, but it's extremely generic. I like my deck boxes to say something about what they hold. All my magic decks go into boxes with images that reflect their theme. A demon, or a certain character from the Magic universe if they are a primary piece of the deck. For Pathfinder, I haven't really found anything like that yet, only because I'm not big on a deck box this size. I will likely just end up going with the deck boxes that have the window slot on them
Something like this, like I use for my Magic EDH deck
With all the extreme and exorbitant suggestions you've requested, I'm actually kinda surprised you like just a plain clear plastic deck box.

So you like deck boxes reflecting the theme?
Well, then clear plastic boxes are the right item for you:When you sleeved your PACG deck with the UltraPro PACG Deck Protector sleeves then you put the character token face up on your card pile and put it in the clear plastic box.
- So you see the token character image and you know right away which character deck it is.
- well, and you also see the back side of the sleeves branding the clear box with the PACG label.
- the box is very sturdy...
In this way you make from generic box a themed one. That easy.
What else do you want?

I see the card back (which is the sleeve design) the whole time every time that I play. I want something unique, I actually love this case for that very reason, even if it is a bizarre size for PACG. I have too many sets of dice so I guess I'll fill the box with those!

... And where do you store this box then? Inside the main game box there is no space. Seperately :-(
Buy the the adventure case, then you have plenty of space for dice etc. in the main game box and you dont need additional small boxes...

It really depends on the size of the case.
Considering how much stuff I carry from store to store to venue, the case might be worthless for S&S for myself. Might be nice for RotR since the original box can't hold my sleeved cards.
Right now I have two 1600 (shoebox) card boxes. All of RotR fits in one and the other is for S&S. I use BCW card dividers since they're vinyl and I can use a Sharpie on them. A bag of dice, enough for the table. Seven Ultrapro 100+ Deck Boxes for class decks. And a set of pawns/standees for character placement. And extra sleeves. Of course the RotR set stays home. That's just the "gear" and the I have the file folder with all the paper stuff including rules and character sheets, etc. Plus more. So if the case is heavy wood or just plain heavy, ain't going to compare to the cardboard one I use now.
As far as the new Ultrapro split deck box … meh. I prefer the new Commander Tower they released for MtG. Has the same capacity as 100+ box plus a compartment below for dice and a pocket in front that could hold a character sheet, chronicle sheet, etc.

The only problem i can think about reg. The adventure case is that it is too large...
So for every adventure path i have to store both game box and adventure case, this blows its volume by factor two for each adventure path. The only drawback of the case... So far.
Best would be a second plastic insert for the game box from paizo... One insert for unsleeved and one for sleeved. OR one generic insert for both sleeved and unsleeved capacity...
Idea for official plastic insert: remove the section for the adventure paper boxes and make this space available sleeved cards and/or adventure boxes. The one who plays unsleeved can still put the empty paper boxes inside the game box and the one who plays sleeved removes the paper boxes fromthe game box and can use this additional space for the sleeved cards... ----> this is the OPTIMaL solution for both sleeved and unsleeved gamers.
Then the use of the adventure case is only for the actual adventure season... To carry and sort the cards... So you would need only one adv. Case per household...
Otherwise you need one adv case for each adventure path and for each 10 class decks... Soon your gaming room will be filled with game boxes and adventure cases and you cant buy anymore because your gaming room is full. :-((
Paizo has also consider this. That each gamer has limited space available for his hobby.
I would buy one adventure case and for each game box one modified offical black plastic insert from paizo. I would pay 15 usd for each modified plastic insert to update the Rotr and Ss paths... By all means hopefully the wotr-insert already provides this functionalty to save space in the gaming room.
Long post, hopefully not too long.
What do you think about a modified offical plastic insert optionally available?

Assuming the adventure case is something I like, my plan would be to buy one, maybe two of them. I'd keep the active adventure paths that I'm playing in the adventure cases. The inactive ones, I'd unsleeve and put back in the Paizo insert in the original box.
That means I'd be reusing sleeves, but I want to do that anyway to keep costs down. 5 years from now I'm not really looking to have sleeved 10 adventure paths worth of cards.

Reusing sleeves means also your are not flexible ... So a friend visits you in five years and asks you for a quick game evening to to play the good old RotR... Then have have to re-sleeve it again... All 1200 cards ... This sucks... Sleeving and unsleeving...
This was another fast hawkmoon post..

I'm fine with my lack of flexibility in that case. He should have called ahead or be more flexible himself when I say "how about we play SUPER AWESOME NEW ADVENTURE PATH instead?" Or why wouldn't he play with my on our tablets using the Obsidian app?
Plus, this isn't really the kind of game I'd whip out for that situation. So I'm cool with my lack of flexibility eventually saving me enough money to buy a whole adventure path.
