Firearms?

Iron Gods

Hi all, I recently bought Fires of Creation, and so far it looks good!

But before I start my campaign, I was wondering - I know that no character starts with high-tech equipment, but I was wondering what the status was about firearms.

Are they exotic, martial or simple? (Emerging Guns, Commonplace Guns, or Guns Everywhere?)

I ask because there is a few "stages" of technology for campaigns, and I would like to know which one this campaign is following.

Thanks in advance.

Grand Lodge

Pretty sure they're exotic

Liberty's Edge

Definitely exotic, and despite there being laser guns in Numeria, black powder pistols are only being developed in one particular nation a continent away. So I would say not even at the emerging guns level. Not that there's no chance that one would exist in the campaign, but it would be an oddity.

Okay, thanks.

Emerging Guns is considered the standard for all of Golarion except Alkenstar, which probably has Commonplace.

That being said, Gunslingers make all-too-much sense for this campaign. Even one of the iconics for this one is a Gunslinger. But yes, firearms and tech firearms are still exotic weapons.

Just like the rest of Golarion (maybe with the exception of Alkenstar), Numeria is at the emerging guns state.

That said i really do hope that this AP will be able to work with PCs using the touch attack mechanic (most of the APs i have seen don't work well with the touch attack firearm rules).

We made guns everywhere within this region, Reason we did that is this is the Font of Technology for purposes of proficiency, and gun training. However, we didn't change the price tag of the weapons as they are still pretty rare and that primarily collectors utilize them.
