It's a bug. Blessing of the faithful was removed from the archetype during development.
So is the bug that they forgot to also remove Ecclesitheurge’s Vow? Or are you supposed to lose something else, instead of blessing of the faithful, when wearing armor?
The vow is still there; they just forgot to remove the reference to the deleted blessing. You still lose the other things that it says you lose.
Just ignore the words "blessing of the faithful", and keep the rest of the vow intact.

Sorry for the necro, but someone just linked to this in our game. It is clearly still being read (by at least two people - that guy, and me). This also pops up near the top of Google searches for "pathfinder blessing of the faithful". Not usually a problem, but blahpers, as it turns out, was wrong and I feel someone needs to set the record straight.
The errata released almost a year after blahpers' post has the following:
Page 91—In the Ecclesitheurge archetype’s Ecclesitheurge’s Vow ability, in the second sentence, remove both instances of the word “prohibited”. Add the following ability after the Ecclesitheurge’s Vow ability:
Blessing of the Faithful (Su): As a standard action, the ecclesitheurge can bless one ally within close range (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels). A blessed ally gains a +2 sacred or profane bonus (depending on whether the ecclesitheurge channels positive or negative energy) on attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, or saving throws or to AC until the ecclesitheurge’s next turn. The ecclesitheurge can expend 1 use of channel energy when activating this ability to increase the duration to a number of rounds equal to the number of dice of his channel energy.
