Quick question on preorders

I want to preorder Pathfinder Unchained. As of now, I don't have sufficient funds in my bank account to pay for the item, but my account won't be charged until April 2015. Would my card still get declined based on insufficient funds when my card gets authorized during the preorder process, or do I just have to have sufficient funds when the item ships?

I am not Paizo, but as I recall, if you've used the card in the past, they won't authorize it again.

NOT that I've ever been in the same boat. *koff*
