That was the question, I suppose.
The Mounted Fury gets a class feature called "Bestial Mount".
"Bestial Mount (Ex): At 5th level, the mounted fury gains the service of a feral mount. This ability functions as a druid's animal companion, using the barbarian's level –4 as her effective druid level. This companion must be one that she is capable of riding and is suitable as a mount. A Medium barbarian can select a camel or a horse. A Small barbarian can select a pony or a wolf, but can also select a boar or a dog if she is at least 8th level."
So it is your stance that a class feature that specifically provides for a mount (as opposed to the various ways to get a simple animal companion) is not equivalent to a mount class feature?
The language used is identical to that used in other mount-using classes.

The ability was (for whatever reason) meant to be specific to Rangers, Cavaliers, and Paladins, restricting the Druid and others from having access, so technically no, your Barbarian does not qualify as he does not have the specifically referenced ability. That being said, I'd probably allow it in my home game.
