Anyone know a Watto type creature.

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Hi guys! I'm running a game soon that has a barkeep that is modeled roughly after Watto from Star Wars Episode 1. Does anyone know of a pathfinder creature that Watto would fit into stat-wise? Doesn't have to be perfect, but a little help getting in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Is he going to see combat? If not, he doesn't need stats. I can't think of anything that fits remotely well.

Immunity to mind effecting, small, flight speed? You could homebrew that as a neutral outsider of some kind and just hope no one asks about it.

Unless you have the sort of party who will go murderhobo on him and demand stats. In that case, gods help you.

When in doubt, take a kobold, remove natural armor bonus, add fly speed 40 ft. (perfect), a will save bonus or immunity to mind affecting, replace subtype with "flying tapir thing" (or toydarian, I guess) and you're good to go. -Maybe raise CR from 1/4 to 1/3 or 1/2

all of these are fairly simple changes that barely impact the look of the statblock. This way you can improvise all sorts of things from stuff that has a similar base to go from.

Elf with the immunities switched to mental, dump other stuff for as little as 20 move hover, size drops to small. But I do like Threeshades' version.

Mephits also work, it's stretching the "Mind tricks don't work on me, only money", in that he's only immune to the Person mind control spells, but that still covers a while. Jack up his Will save and he's functionally immune.

hes an imp

simple

Silver Crusade

Even better. Good call, not-so-young padawan.
