Slayer Archetypes

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I dont have the ACG yet, I was wondering if someone can kindly give me a small rundown on all 8 of the Slayer archetypes? I know the Slayer class spotlight from a couple of weeks ago gave like a sentence on 4-5 of them, but I was hoping to get a little more info on all of them.

Bounty Hunter (Archetype)
Whether tasked with bringing in wanted criminals or paid to drag debtors back to their loan sharks, bounty hunters are valued for their ability to capture targets alive.

Cleaner (Archetype)
A cleaner is responsible for destroying or removing incriminating evidence from a crime scene, disposing of corpses and eliminating witnesses to make a crime look like an accident or a mere disappearance.

Cutthroat (Archetype)
Street-smart and extremely resourceful, cutthroats stalk city streets and alleyways, preying on those unfortunate enough to catch their eye. More opportunists than careful planners, they don’t care who they rob or kill, and take advantage of whatever circumstances put them near a suitable target.

Deliverer (Archetype)
Also known as a divine assassin, god’s blade, or wrath-bringer, a deliverer is a weapon chosen by a god to punish those who have committed an affront to that deity. Evil deities are more likely to use assassins than deliverers, but some good deities use deliverers to deal with problems of a subtler nature than a cleric, inquisitor, paladin, or warpriest can typically handle.

Grave Warden (Archetype)
While paladins and inquisitors use their connection with the divine to fight undead hordes and other horrors of the night, a grave warden relies on knowledge, skill with weapons, and tenacity to put an end to these night-born terrors.

Sniper (Archetype)
Whether it’s with a bullet from a sling, a quarrel from a crossbow, or even an expertly thrown dagger, the sniper ensures that a single shot disables his targets.

Stygian Slayer (Archetype)
A stygian slayer crawls out of the darkest shadows to strike fear into the hearts of civilized folk. He’s a merciless killer who can control a sliver of magic, allowing him to arrive unseen, commit murder, and depart without detection.

Vanguard (Archetype)
Vanguards are battlefield commanders who focus on the brutality of combat and lead their allies to bloody victory. Quick to react to danger, a vanguard is a valuable scout, capable officer, and skilled tactician.

Sovereign Court

Bounty Hunter: Incapacitate people instead of sneak attack basically, can add sneak attack dmg to grapple check.

Cleaner: Essentially study an area become very stealthy, can conceal stuffs, can use misdirection.

Cutthroat: if he attacks in surprise round, can study a target as a free action, he can steal stuffs from target as swift action, as long as he lands a crit, or kill a target.

Deliverer: Religious zealot assassin, doesn't fall down unconscious when fighting his target when in negative and is not staggered basically.

Grave warden: can assassinate undead...yup.

Sniper: Sneak attack range keep increases starting at +10, so sneak attack from 40 ft and keep increasing.

Stygian Slayer: The cool shadow assassin

Vanguard: teamwork, share teamwork with companions and stronger when fighting with buddies.

Thanks guys! Do any of the archetypes offer an animal companion? I'm looking for some way (sans multiclassing) to pick up a wolf with a Slayer.

Bounty Hunter: Trades medium armor and heavy shield proficiency for aklys, bola, dan bong, lasso, and net proficiency. 2nd level talent for the ability to replace sneak attack damage against studied targets with free dirty tricks (with a bonus equal to sneak attack dice). Yes, they get this ability before the ability to sneak attack, bizarrely. 6th level talent for taking a -5 penalty on a check to confirm a grapple to deal sneak attack damage. 10th level talent for a version of assassinate that instead knocks a target unconscious for 1d6 rounds.

Cleaner: Trades track for Deceitful as a bonus feat. 4th level talent for the ability to make stealth and disguise checks to alter crime scenes (why is this a special ability and not something everyone can do?), bonus on Sleight of Hand checks to steal and conceal evidence. Stalker for an at-will misdirection SLA that can only be used on themself.

Cutthroat: Trades Knowledge (dungeoneering), Knowledge (geography), and Survival as class skills for Diplomacy, Knowledge (nobility), and Linguistics. Track for +1/2 level to either Acrobatics, Climb, or Knowledge (local) (your choice) when in urban environments. 2nd level talent for the ability to study a target as a free action in the surprise round. 6th level talent for the ability to make a steal attempt as a swift action against a dead creature or studied target that was just hit by a critical.

Deliverer: Gains deities favored weapon proficiency. Trades 2nd level talent for +2 on will saves against creatures at least 2 steps away from his alignment, but only for the round they attack their enemy- and Diehard. 6th level talent for not being staggered or losing hit points every round while Diehard is active. 10th level talent for +2d6 damage against studied targets at least two steps away from the deliverer's alignment. You lose class features if you go against your deity.

Grave Warden: Trades 2nd level talent for an ability that I swear to god is named "Holy Water Sprinkler" that lets you draw holy water as a free action if you have Quick Draw, and lets you apply holy water to yours or an adjacent ally's weapon as a swift action to apply its effects to the next undead creature it hits. Stalker for the ability to cast death ward by consuming 4 holy waters. 10th level talent for assassinate vs. undead only that allows them a Will save instead of a Fort save.

Sniper: Track for halving all range increment penalties with bows, crossbows, and firearms. 2nd level talent for increasing sneak attack range by 10 feet.

Stygian Slayer: Loses medium armor proficiency for nothing. 4th level talent for 1/day invisibility SLA, one extra use every 4 levels thereafter. Stalker for being able to use spell completion and trigger items of darkness, forced quiet, modify memory, nondetection, obscuring mist, phantom steed, and shadow walk, in addition to all wizard Illusion spells from 0th to 4th level without needing to make a UMD check. 10th level talent for 1 minute/level of a gaseous form SLA that also produces a fog cloud around you- only need to be used in 1 minute increments.

Vanguard: Trades track for +1/2 level to initiative. 2nd level talent for 1/day sharing a teamwork feat with all allies within 30 feet for 3 + 1/2 level rounds, as a standard action. You can trade slayer talents for extra uses. 4th level talent for giving half your studied target bonus against one target to all allies within 30 feet for Int mod rounds, move action. Stalker for always acting in the surprise round.
